It gives everyone a bird’s eye view of what’s going on whether you plan your content or you’re tracking ongoing work. Cons The sync can sometimes lag in particular when updating deadlines last moment. Yet, this has created some confusion for team members that depend on external synced calendars. Pros Boards and cards are visual, so it's not hard to understand, even for people who are not used to project tools. Just move things as they go and add notes or dates when needed. More complex desires required some messing about and somethings I thought of as obvious just weren't available. Pros It's a great free product. I used the paid one too which is slightly better. Versatile and allows for some design liberties as well. Cons I found a lack of cross-referencing easily between pages and tabs was problematic. I'd love to see that feature-set enhanced. March 8, 2025 5.0 Whenever I want to manage a project very quickly with an easy to use tool, I open my trello. It's mobile app and notification system is also amazing. Pros This is my favorit! It is easy to use. It has a very good free version. And it has enough flexibility to manage a wide variety of projects with it! Cons I can have tasks and even checklists inside each task but no subtasks. I did upgrade to another level bc I use it so much and wanted to add in team members. It’s definitely worth it for me. Pros Trello is easy to use for someone who has no experience of a project management tool. It’s clear, simple and easy to integrate with other systems like slack, Google drive etc. Cons You need to upgrade to access better features like add more team members, create more than 10 boards, etc. it’s not strictly necessary if you’re only using it as a single user but if you want to use it as a team you need more then the basic (free) plan. " November 25, 2025 5.0 customer support, features, task tracking and value for the money are all key pieces of why we choose to stay with Trello for our customers. Pros Trello has been a breeze and a great organizational tool for our admin team to use. Highly recommended to anyone. Cons Gosh - loved everything so at the moment we have no negatives. " December 11, 2024 5.0 I enjoy using Trello because it allows me to shift between tasks easily, see my workflow, have everything from a calendar to a task list and easily links to my phone. I would recommend Trello for the business owner or someone in the process of scaling. Pros Something I loved about Trello is how easily I could shift between lists and how there are various viewing setups that you can choose from. It made it easy for me to build out content calendars! Cons I disliked how you have to charge per extra person you add to the board. You can only have one person at a time for free and that is frustrating! The drag-and-drop interface makes it incredibly easy to use. I love how it helps my team stay on track with deadlines, and the ability to add comments, attachments, and labels is very useful. However, the free version is quite limited, and I wish it had built-in time tracking without needing third-party integrations. Overall, a great tool for small teams and freelancers! It's a great tool for both quick collaboration and long-term planning. Pros The ability to quickly generate project workflows via the use of cards, and then automate them with powerful scripting in the background. It makes project management across teams pretty easy! Cons My least favorite part is that as projects grow more complex, the boards can start to feel a bit cluttered. It can take some effort to keep everything organized and easy to navigate.
