Otherwise, alternatives will have better features, with Kanban as part of a broader project/task management approach. Pros Its free version is a fairly good value. If you specifically want a Kanban board, then there is nothing better. Cons I don't think that Kanban is a really good interface for project management. I wish that it had a greater variety of views, like lists and Gantt, that you need for larger projects. The use cases where Kanban alone is good enough is fairly small. Review Source DO Daniel O. For bigger projects, it can get a bit more confusing, and I tend to lose track of all the tasks. But overall, I think it is a good product, depending on how you use it. Pros The post-it (board system is neat for small immediate tasks. Cons Using the board system in longer projects can become a bit cluttered, and it is easy to lose track of tasks. June 9, 2025 5.0 I use cello to organize my monthly marketing activities. It makes it easy to put things into buckets and get an easy view of exactly what I am planning on doing. I needed help with my organization and this really helped with that. Pros I really enjoy using Trello. I find it easy to get started with easy to teach yourself how to use and has really enhanced my organization. Cons So far, I have not found anything that I dislike about Trello. Pros The idea and concept of using Trello for projects and task sounds great, just found it's a little hard to learn the flows and how to use it. Cons Trello is not user-friendly to learn on your own, or you need to be patient and try many things to learn it. Pros I like the fact that it helps me visually see tasks in a way that is easy to understand. The kanban system works really well for me and helps me visually see work progressing. Also I like the templates that are available from the community! Pros It is super easy to use, very intuitive and even the free version has many features. Cons The home page may be a little confusing. Switched from [ClickUp](https://www.capterra.com/p/158833/ClickUp/) It was expensive and most people in the company didn't use it. Pros We could be organized with our projects and jobs the team was working on. It was a place that my boss used to help us stay on track and he could have visibility into what we were working on and where we were at in the time line goals. Cons I was an employee that didn't have to be in there all the time. I think my dislike was more personal as I didn't want to have to update one more thing. But the product itself is good.
