While it’s not perfect for advanced project management, it excels at clarity and collaboration. Pros Trello is a reliable and intuitive tool for managing projects of any size. It’s especially strong for visual task tracking and team collaboration. Cons It becomes harder to manage when projects get very large, and reporting features are quite limited without add-ons. I love the app and how I can view all of my boards away from the computer Pros Trello is super easy to use. Setting up boards to track different tasks is as simple as a few clicks. Syncing with other devices through the app is also pretty gret for on-the-go work. Cons The only issue I had was when I wanted to receive emails for tasks. It is great for remote work as a Virtual Assistant and it can be shared with the team easily through links shared via email or text. Pros Trello is very versatile project management tool. It is easy to make little notes on the board and make lists that can be shared across the company or team. It can be used best for virtual work and sharing videos, sending messages and delegating tasks for the team and also reminders can be sent if someone is lagging behind or has not updated their tasks. Especially with the power-up add-ons. Pros Trello is probably the easiest to pick up and use of all the project management software that is commonly found in businesses. If you've worked in a kanban/agile team, especially, however browsing the templates makes it clear that there are many other creative approaches you can take outside of that. Cons I dislike how everyone has to be on the same plan. I use Trello across organisations and I like to be on a premium membership, however, some of the teams I work with don't have paid subscriptions and when I sign up with the same email as them my options are to either pay for the entire team or drop back to the free tier. Trello helps us designate tasks without have long meetings. I also see the progress of projects and who us working on which task. Whenever there is any progress on an assignment, I can move the card to another quadrant of the dashboard, so I know there has been a change. The truth is that Trello is a very flexible software and I can organize my ideas with it. Pros I can integrate functionality from other software into Trello, so I have everything important in one interface. Comments allow us to communicate very well, without the need for chats. Notifications are fast and the interface is very easy to read. The drag and drop functions are very fluid and make the functions very easy to use. Runs very similar to Microsoft Planner. Pros Trello is a great tool for organizing projects and assigning people to specific tasks as needed. I'm enjoying its ability to help me keep track of things I'm working on. Cons Something that comes up often for my team is when two people are editing a card at the same time. The person who was editing last overwrites what was in the card already, and can cause a duplication of efforts. When you're managing projects for a company with areas of responsibility over 3 states, it is helpful to get real-time updates and stay on top of each project/team. Pros Trello let's you combine a lot of creative elements together in one place for easy reference and is a helpful client onboarding tool for web builds and new designs for marketing campaigns. Cons I found the UI to be a little cumbersome to navigate through and could easily become junky and cluttered as well as disorganized as more content is added by multiple people. April 9, 2025 5.0 I used it in a company I was working at, and I also used it in a personal project, and both times it became a great tool for me, I'm not that organized, and Trello was "my memory and mind" helping me to have a detailed view in tasks to complete, the completed ones, meetings, files and images... Pros I love the way Trello helped me to stay organized, having a general view of the interface with the cards showing the tasks to complete, who is taking care of them, the attached files, and working in real-time. Cons The free plan doesn't have many advanced features and customer support can be slow at times which is what i liked least about Trello.
