### "Disruptive price PBX to resell with your own value added and make money."

Its been a game changer for us. We have been selling PBX from traditional vendors for the last 50 years in our company and we were slowly not being able to sell what we used to. So, we looked for an inexpensive and powerful PBX software that would allow us to sell PBX ion premises and in the cloud and retain our existing customers with new technologies and still be an updated palyer in the market place.

Pros

The GUI is very modern and makes the previous software that we used look pre-historic. Its got every feature of the expensive traditional PBX and the newest Ip PBX also. The price is not diretly related to channels or extensions. They do sell addon modules, some of them based on qty of extensions and some not. Their subscription plan with unlimited capabilities lets you grow and make money wth a fixe low cost.

Cons

When we started with them, it was just Release 1.0 and lacked many features and had certain problems that thanks to the great service were all fixed in a timely manner is subsequent releases.

Reason for choosing VitalPBX

Because it clearly has a much better value. Its less expensive and even if it was the same price, it has the right features and ease of use that we needed. Our PBX service on the cloud thanks to Vital PBX is very succesful and is allowing us to mantain our very experienced 50 years old company.

### "Everything I needed for my VoIP business"

From the beginning, the support from the community has been great. I was in desperate need of a solution after the nightmare debacle at Kerio-slash-GFI. VitalPBX has given me the chance to continue my small VoIP business, keep my command line up to speed, and offer my clients a lot more in their service.

Pros

I was drawn to VitalPBX while searching for something that would allow for voicemail transcription (IBM's Watson STT, now switching to Google Cloud STT). I also needed something I could install myself in a standard VPS provider.

Cons

There are one or two features that my older software could do that I cannot do with VitalPBX, such as transferring calls between devices registered to one extension. However, everything else more than makes up for this. While I also love the customizability of the portal user's UI, I wish there were a simplified, user-friendly interface for the far less technically-inclined user.

### "Looks simple, but it is not as simple as it look"

In this standard deployment, VitalPBX does the job. 1 trunk, 10 extensions, Follow Me and IVR. Autoprovisioning was not setup because it is easier to setup 10 phones one by one (yeahlink phones, different models).

Pros

VitalPBX has a good user interface. The web management do not afraid people. Feature codes list, follow me and many several options are easily accessible from GUI. Installation is very easy. Documentation is present. Tooltips are set for every function, and it is a very good idea.

Cons

The way extensions are presented is not straitforward. The extension mapping is not very clear, and some feature are displayed twice. It is hard to find where exactly DID / extension mapping is done. Debug tool are not very usable. Finally, "asterisk -rv" is more comfortable.

Reason for choosing VitalPBX

FreeSwitch is overkill for this deployment. FreePBX has too many paid option that are free with vitalpbx.

Pros

All of the features that FreePBX has plus the multi-tenant carrier platform.

Cons

The Endpoint Manager for provisioning devices was very rudimentary to where we had to use the Advanced Feature Sets to program some of the most basic things that FreePBX or 3CX will perform natively. Also, we are waiting on the VitXi platform to mature so we can move our 3CX clients over to VitalPBX and have a single system to manage instead of multiple different platforms. WebRTC and Mobile Apps are becoming a rapid necessity for users to be able to work and function. And these capabilities will help us continue to successfully provide great service and pricing to our customers.

Ease of use, deployment, management, maintenance, and of course the price.

Pros

Dynamic routes, IVR Stats, Sonata Stats, Switchboard, VitXi are wonderful

Cons

Not yet fully completed API, but hopefully, it'll be solved soon by the great team as did in the past.

Pros

I am happy with the fact that most important features are free and they have covered most details of running a PBX. I am happy with the simplicity of management of Asterisk, the option to easily create extensions, the IM function between extensions which is enabled by default and everything overall. I am extremely happy with it.

Cons

I disliked only one thing. The main screen of the PBX is the option to create a new extension. In my opinion, it should be a page which lists the already active extensions and there should be a create button, which navigates to the creation page. Other than that, everything about VitalPBX is perfect.

Como todo sistema creado por el hombre, los Bugs y fallas, son comunes, pero gracias a la experiencias con sistemas propietarios, como Nortel, Cisco, Avaya, Siemens, Alcatel, Panasonic, LG entre otros. La experiencia como integrador ha sido muy buena y el feedback de mis clientes lo ha sido también de buena.

Pros

Hoy gracias a VitalPBX ya no es necesario pensar en otras marcas tradicionales de sistemas de telecomunicaciones, porqué? En mis 39 años de ser integrador de sistemas de telecomunicaciones, nunca había sentido tanta paz, VitalPBX no solo es super estable, si no en extremo robusto gracias a su diseño y herramientas como lo son su impresionante Firewall Fail2BAN que logra proteger todas las conexiones que traer el VitalPBX a nivel de SIP, HTTP, HTTPS y SSH. Ya no requieres adquirir equipos propietarios que no se encuentran en la tienda de la esquina y lo peor, los sistemas basados en Hardware propietario traen pocos recursos a nivel de procesador y memoria RAM. Con un sistema propietario si se presenta un desastre mayor, deberás esperar meses para recuperar el sistema si no posees un contrato de mantenimiento que incluya partes, mientras tanto tus clientes pensando que cerraste operaciones. En cambio con VitalPBX en menos de 2 horas recuperar el sistema. Cada vez que ingresa un nuevo colaborador, ya no tienes que comerte las uñas pensando toda la inversión que representa, tales cómo comprar licencias de uso de extensión IP, el teléfono IP propietario que son carísimos, y licencias en general para buzones de voz, mensajería unificada, Conference Bridge etc. Pero con VitalPBX no requieres adquirir licencias para dar de alta a un nuevo colaborador, es más si utiliza un softphone, tampoco requieres pagar licencias.

Cons

Existen cosas que hay que pulir aún, si bien es cierto VitalPBX es extraordinario, requiere meter más ajustes en temas considerados primordiales: Migrar a un sistema operativo Linux Base tales cómo Debian o Ubuntu que poseen los últimos Kernels, esto dado a que CentOS 7.8 aún se encuentra en un Kernel tan viejo 3.10, que hoy solo soporta procesadores Intel de Octava generación para atrás y el CentOS 8 el cual continúa presentando un Kernel considerado hoy muy viejo como lo es el Kernel 4.18. Sin dejar de mencionar que CentOS presenta graves problemas con sus repositorios y sobre todo cuando se intenta actualizar alguna versión del kernel. Cuentas de usuarios: VitalPBX requiere se cree un perfil de cuentas de Administrador de Administradores, donde la segunda no pueda borrar la cuenta de Administrador. Reportería: De cantidad de extensiones que existen en el sistemas, Quienes poseen un perfil de COS específico, Cantidad de rutas de troncales inbound-outbound, Listado de troncales, Listado de Conference Bridge. En resumen tener un módulo de reportería exportable a CSV-PDF el cual ayude a extraer información del sistema en texto sin la necesidad de estar sacando screenshots. Corregir un problema en el Balcklist que no permite bloquear números privados, que aún hoy existe en la versión 3.

Una gran tranquilidad al poner en marcha nuevas PBX con vitalPBX, un sistema seguro y con mejoras constantes

Pros

Un sistema fácil de utilizar. Lo comencé a utilizar a raíz de la necesidad de openvpn integrado. Llevo cerca de dos años usándolo y no he tenido ningún problema nunca. Las dudas las soluciono con su documentación y las más extrañas he realizado consultas y las respuestas son inmediatas. He propuesto el producto a varias empresas amigas en España para que lo utilicen.

Cons

De momento nada. Funcionamiento perfecto y sin problemas.

### "Gran Solución de Voz sobre IP"

La experiencia que he tenido con VitalPBX ha sido en general fascinante ya que lo ocupo como mi central principal prácticamente como un SBC ya que recibo troncales de 3 Carriers distintos y a su vez distribuyo hacia 4 soluciones de PBX internamente, Alcatel-Lucent, AVAYA, Solución de Contact Center, adicionalmente ocupamos para la conexión de extensiones remotas las cuales van de maravilla, simplemente una solución estable y confiable.

Pros

Muchos de los módulos de la solución de VitalPBX son muy intuitivos para su operación, para la parte de la integración ha sido muy sencilla tanto para el deploy de deskphone así como con Carriers

Cons

Aun creo que hace falta desarrollo para poderlo ocupar como una solución completa de Contact Center

Me gusta que es de facil utilizacion, rapido y algo intuitivo.

Cons

No me gusta mucho la funcion de los 3 puntos del lateral derecho para ver las configuraciones ya realizadas (entensiones, grupos de llamados, etc) pero funciona. No me gusta que incluya poco soporte las licencias mensuales y que el soporte remoto sea tan costoso, hay funciones que por culpa de ello no podemos utilizar.
