"great system backed up by a great team"

Overall: this software has enabled us to grow the business considerably.

Pros: stock, order processing, trade counter and purchasing modules

Cons: still waiting for some key modules to be implemented.

Alternatives Considered: Sage 100

Reasons for Switching to OGL Software: we were very limited by sage and could not see how it would help to develop the business.

"OGL Review "

Overall: Good experience, assisted by excellent account manager

Pros: Ease of use, good customer support. Excellent Account Manager

Cons: Does trip up on some fundamental design and procedural issues.

"Good Effective ERP"

Overall: Generally good, simple and effective software which meets most of our business requirements

Pros: Simple and effective system, generally easily picked up.

Cons: The interface screen we have for it is a little dated.

"Profit Plus Review"

Overall: Overall system is more visually better than previous ERP but lacks sufficiently where the ability was there with previous ERP

Pros: Windows based ERP. Was told about specific functionalities that would be of use for us

Cons: Lack of flexibility and scope to change. Doesnt do much development. If module is not popular, minimal focus on improvements. Recently set up new business with different ERP which is $600 PA and has better functionality than profit plus

Reasons for Switching to OGL Software: Macsys system change - not an option in your list The system was at end of life and no longer supported

"OGL Feedback"

Overall: We got of to a very rocky start, gradually we got the correct information imported into the system. We found the training excellent the trainer was [sensitive content hidden], we now have [sensitive content hidden] who looks after our account and again we find him excellent always calls you back if you leave him a message usually within 2 hours if he cannot help he sources help for you.

Pros: For the amount of products we have in our range it is, in my opinion the best software I have see and used. 1. Functionality and ease of use. 2. You can swop between screens (have as many on display as required). 3. Analytics, you can breakdown between products, units percentages, costs and profit. 3.Impoting information. 4. Saves time so productivity is high.

Cons: 1. The question mark button needs more information on how to carry out normal processes so you don't have to phone up the help desk

"Rob Pond ltd"

Overall: Fairly simple migration from old system, with user-friendly interface, made changing software relatively pain-free. Staff are always friendly and helpful, and there seems to be great scope for the software to develop by being cloud-based, with no IT infrastructure upgrades/maintenance required.

Pros: Stock control tools & sales order management. Having integrated areas such as stock assignments, filter, bulk allocations etc. has saved huge amounts of time.

Cons: The system often has glitchy interfaces, such as not being able to enter capital letters in certain fields, or custom filters in a workspace re-setting after entering then exiting a record, which requires having to re-apply the filters. The sometimes slow and un-trackable ticket system is a big frustration. Also not having the ability to create/customise reports/templates is a drawback.Lack of instructions/tool tips/explanations of certain aspects is an issue. Not knowing, or being able to find out, how certain figures are calculated (e.g. how Sales Analytics figures are calculated).

Reasons for Choosing OGL Software: Whilst not as seemingly powerful as higher-end solutions, the cloud- and browser-based platform removes costly hardware costs and appears to be easily scalable for the future.
Reasons for Switching to OGL Software: Restricted stock and sales management tools, along with clunky and un-integrated reporting system. No real scope to handle further growth of the business.

"OGL system"

Pros: Layout is user friendly which helps speed up the onboarding of new team members becoming familiar with the system

"OGL - the go to ERP system..."

Pros: This is the best ERP I have used for years... It's quite a traditional style ERP that's all laid out in a usable straightforward format. Very good for businesses selling multiple products to multiple customers.

Cons: It is app based and would benefit from at least the ability to go cloud based.
