July 28, 2025 3.0 Good experiance on the whole, we had bugs and issues at the very start but these have very much improved. Pros Functionality and the fact that it is being continuously improved on, excited about what was to come in the future. Feeling a valued customer, not a number. Having an account manager to speak with. Cons The cost of add ons like the warehouse management system, wasn't expecting that to be so much money and was under the impression improvements would be apart of the current system, not sold as very expensive (same price as P4) add ons. Just slighting miss routed, and have to go through a lot of pain and detriment to your company to get it where it needs to be. When it properly works, it’s great. Pros Great support team that go the extra mile, flexibility to interact with third party systems. Improves efficiencies. Cons Account managers are just sales people in disguise, powerless to support with what’s needed. The people that can support are often tucked away. Bolt on packages costly and not as set out in the original sale. We would recommend them to anyone needing good stock control software. Pros Helpful team who will help to find solutions to software problems. Software has evolved over the years and most issues are dealt with promptly. Cons Sometimes the prices can be high, especially if asking for bespoke solutions. Staff are always friendly and helpful, and there seems to be great scope for the software to develop by being cloud-based, with no IT infrastructure upgrades/maintenance required. Pros Stock control tools & sales order management. Having integrated areas such as stock assignments, filter, bulk allocations etc. has saved huge amounts of time. Cons The system often has glitchy interfaces, such as not being able to enter capital letters in certain fields, or custom filters in a workspace re-setting after entering then exiting a record, which requires having to re-apply the filters. The sometimes slow and un-trackable ticket system is a big frustration. Also not having the ability to create/customise reports/templates is a drawback.Lack of instructions/tool tips/explanations of certain aspects is an issue. Not knowing, or being able to find out, how certain figures are calculated (e.g. how Sales Analytics figures are calculated). Reason for choosing OGL Software Whilst not as seemingly powerful as higher-end solutions, the cloud- and browser-based platform removes costly hardware costs and appears to be easily scalable for the future. We found the training excellent the trainer was \[sensitive content hidden\], we now have \[sensitive content hidden\] who looks after our account and again we find him excellent always calls you back if you leave him a message usually within 2 hours if he cannot help he sources help for you. Pros For the amount of products we have in our range it is, in my opinion the best software I have see and used. 1. Functionality and ease of use. 2. You can swop between screens (have as many on display as required). 3. Analytics, you can breakdown between products, units percentages, costs and profit. 3.Impoting information. 4. It's quite a traditional style ERP that's all laid out in a usable straightforward format. Very good for businesses selling multiple products to multiple customers.
