They’re very professional, and the support is great, fast, and helpful. They answered my technical questions extremely fast and have been very helpful with my specific questions about working in a new country. I struggled with keeping time in a separate document and uploading Google Sheets or Excel files when working with Notion AI, but integrating Notion made that possible. Pros I find Remote useful, especially the feature that allows me to automatically create invoices based on my time tracking. Integrating Notion made it possible for me to use a separate document for time tracking. I like being able to see everything in one simple dashboard, and getting set up wasn’t challenging at all. Cons I found Remote's AI agent not super functional when I tried to upload a document from Google Sheets or Excel, though integrating my paid Notion account made that possible. As a contractor based in Canada, I also have limitations around tax remittance and accounting. The support articles make it sound like those resources are available to anyone, and I wasted a lot of time asking an agent and trying to figure out how to build in that functionality myself. I’d like Remote to include Canadian contractors, since its functionality seems pretty clearly built for Americans working in America for Americans. Relatedly, this is my third time filling out this survey in its entirety. While I was given multiple options for how to complete this survey, the seemingly most conventional written form option failed repeatedly, even at the last stage, when the submit button would appear as pressed but did not refresh, redirect or anything. This seems like an issue with interviews.g2.com but the email I received directed me to contact Remote support with any questions or difficulties responding to the survey, so I wasted time trying to troubleshoot that. I have left the job, my title while at Remote was Programmes Manager Used the software for: 1-3 years ### "Incorrect Sick-Time and Slow Support—AI Chatbot Rarely Helps" November 6, 2026 1.0 Remote is trying to solve staffing from different countries and it did allow me to be staffed in a different country than the company. Pros Able to be staffed from abroad. Staff are friendly. Cons My payslip has almost never been correct when I log sick time. It seems as if whatever I log in the system is not considered. Any issues with the software or my payslip take weeks if not months to resolve. I am frustrated that my first point of contact is an AI chatbot who almost never answers my questions correctly. The site works well in that I can log time but as I said its performance on the backend with support staff is questionable. Cons I’d love an option to convert my pay directly from the original currency to the currency we use.
