Pros Ease of use. Having never used this product before I jumped right in and used it to build out our new wireless ISP network. This was so easy and it makes the network visual and easy to follow and locate devices. Cons I would say needs more shapes but with being able to add custom shaped/icons. There are no cons. It provides option for creating a variety of diagrams Cons Things I liked least: 1. The options to color code, use sticky notes or boards to help my staff effectively coimmunicate with one another has been invaluable during the Public Health Emergency. Pros Mind mapping! My practice has multiple locations and each location fails in different levels of restrictions with COVID. Some locations are COVID hotspots and require extra logistical assistance and others have few if any restrictions. Mind mapping allows me to sort information and color code the map . I love this particular feature. Cons Upon first glance, I thought it would be difficult to use. The home page us very busy but upon actual use I have found that it is more user friendly than many other platforms I use daily. There is no "new language" to learn to produce effective materials. Lucidspark helped us a lot to map it out cleaning and look at it in a concise and holistic way. Pros The ability to map out the thoughts into a visual medium, easily, is one of the most important aspects of this software. It is fairly easy to use with a quick learning curve. A very helpful tool for daily use. Cons It is a fairly easy software to use - however a quick on-screen tutorial of the most important and frequent used features would be an awesome start point. It’s super easy to use. You can drag and drop items, exporting is easy, and full screen display makes presentations look great. This is great for anytime you need a digital whiteboard. Cons Sometimes it has significant lag when trying to upload large files. It would be nice if it had more animation options for slides. Sometimes exporting a flowchart to pdf made it hard to read. I have 25 years in the digital industry and lucid charts is and will always be my go-to for bringing projects to life which keeps the revenue streams growing for me and my clients. For me, Lucid charts service and capabilities cannot be beaten. It is worth giving it a try. Pros the abilty to use the objects drag and drop feature and to be able to add text or edit as needed, made it possible to create a flow chart that was balanced for technical and non technial users. Cons To be honest, at this time, I would not change anything about the platform, it provided me with everything I needed and it did not require tutorials or the time that other platforms require to even get started. I have been in the Finance industry for over 20 years and transitioning into technology. Lucidspark allows me to brainstorm with partners, diagram out our business plans and plot out projects. Lucid is pretty handy and flexible when it comes to visualizing these processes, drag and drop, copy stuff, colouring etc make visualizations clear and easy to follow. I would like espeically to point out template for the House of Quality or QFD Cons There is a lot of space for improvement regarding design, it is too sterile, sticky notes should be given 3d sense of looking. December 1, 2020 5.0 At first impression I was considering to look for any alternative but found this as the one that most fit my needs also is pretty easy in comparison with other platforms. You can have one free subscription to test for you and your team and if that get the job done consider about getting a subscription for real and big stacks of work that meets your needs. Pros You can use it to develop data flow diagrams very easy and is more likely to drag and drop. Also you can share easily enough your projects files and in the long run saves a lot of time for updating the current state of your development. Cons If you are in a big group you will need more space to work and way more files to successfully get a big scope along all your files and definitions. So if you are in a small group I would say that free version is fine otherwise buy a license because you will need one but is not as expensive as other platforms. Pros I enjoy how user friendly it is and the solid templates. That said, more templates! (can't have enough!) I now have the ability to lay out cabinets and design networks on paper first to make sure it all makes sense before implementing. I would highly recommend this to anyone in any field to use this software, the possibilities are endless... Pros This software is amazing, I have seen ads for this and spoke to other people that use this software, They all said it is the best one to use in our field. I was skeptical at first, wasn't really sure that LucidChart would meet my needs, I started out with the free trial, Being a Network Engineer, I need the ability to map out room, cabinets, and networks, to use them as a reference to look back on. The software is very easy to use, pretty much point and click. There are so many options you can choose from. I have only used a few of them, I am looking forward to using more.
