Training took a couple of weeks, it was clear and practical, as a step-by-step application training, allowing not only to understand the theory but also roll my sleeves and build an end-to-end application. Support team would always be available and knowledgeable to answer all my queries. Cons if you have a large monitor is better then using a notebook. Cons Need to be tested with requirements which is very complex in nature. Reason for choosing Innoveo Skye I chose Innoveo because it is low code/no code and application can be implemented in couple of weeks time. Associate software engineer Insurance Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "My review of Innoveo Skye " February 5, 2021 4.0 I used the application for nearly 2 months for learning purposes. I had no problem at all whatsoever in understanding the manual and also tried to implement the same on the Innoveo Skye business canvas. At the end of the learning, I was able to successfully complete a POC on travel insurance using this application. Pros I liked the usability of the product. It's like it is built on what you already know about building UIs. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who quickly wants to create an application. The best part about the usability that I mentioned earlier is that you don't even need to have technical knowledge to start creating an application. Cons The only issue that I faced was the connectivity issues. It kept saying service unavailable error and I had to stop/restart the server using putty. This is one the best No code Platform I have ever used with minimal coding interference. Most of time I have spent good chunk of my carrier in traditional web application development, Innoveo Skye was an eye opener on how easy the web application development has become. Pros Most Impact feature of this software is ease of integration with third party services, Apart from this the ease for development of Products and Process and also for UI development is so easy that even a nomad person can develop an platform. The most important feature that i liked personally is the email and SMS and Document Integration it so easy to implement. Apart from this we can customize the UI color that is more Important adding images and also Excel Integration for calculating the heavy Insurance Calculation and the last but not the least is One click deployment. Cons There are many things which we can add more in this product is apart from Insurance specific we can leverage for the other industries like Banking, Real State, and other sectors. some services were had to be taken care by the executives of this like while integration the rest api we need to take specific token. The most important thing to note about Innoveo is, create/configure one definition, switch across different channels by just changing the visibility settings of fields using the concept of context. In-built support for features like Captcha and Integration with Analytics Engines & Payment systems are very cool about the product. Overall, Innoveo is a very good package to use. Pros 1\. The development environment - Business Canvas is very small in size and light weight. 2. Allows configuring & publishing changes on the fly 3. Managing users and user groups using readily available user management module which is also configurable 4. Easily manage global data using admin application 5. Ridiculously easy to configure new products with all the required UI validations 6. Supports different JS libraries and CSS frameworks Cons 1\. Documentation is not too clear 2. Business canvas UI is not too intuitive (may require the user to search around till you get used to the application a lot) 3. In-built XSLT based PDF generation appears problematic at times 4. SOAP service configuration is slightly complicated. Pros Configuring Insurance business requirement in Innoveo is very simple and fast as development is through Canvas suite which provide all required features in form of drag & drop or create from templates. Product is very easy to understand from both functional & Development perspective. Someone with very little technical background can be easily scaled up to use this product for implementing customer requirements. Cons As some of the complex features like rating or big static data management is not available in the Product, we have to depend on external vendors or service providers. Cons Troubleshooting a problem which occurs during building of application is an area where progress can be made. Having said that, even developers even now can login to server via putty and lookup logs. Pros The Configuration of UI design of the product is very easy and can able to configure easily with Excel integration for any Premium calculation and also its easy to integrate with Rest API services with minimal steps. Cons I would suggest the Document service integration can be improved better when configuring the XSLT templated. It can be better if we can use any UI configuration for mapping the values rater than updating the xslt template.
