June 23, 2021 4.0 Overall, I believe this is going to be reach among the top TTS platforms, it is very easy to use and the converted file is very human-like, really recommend this to anyone who deals with TTS. Pros I am glad to have got this. I was tired of the old un-natural sounding voices, so thought of giving this a go... Some of the voices on this are just amazing!! It is a unique concept and I think this had huge potential. If your workflow needs TTS conversion or even if you use it once a while... just get this. It is worth every penny! Cons The only con is some voices are low sound quality, if the quality of the sound can be improved, which I think the devs will, this is right there among the top ones. Pros There are many similar tools in the market, but they are mostly using typical TTS engines. Lovo has its own TTS engine. You will be amazed by its quality. There are many voices available, but watch out for the available languages that you need, but I believe it will be increased over time. You can define the pronunciation of words. You can also emphasize words by clicking the words and adjust the speed. Cons I hope there will be more fine-tuning features available. The editor is edited in sentences, so it may take some time to adjust to it. Prefer the normal text editor view and able to adjust by selecting words, phrase or sentences, so it will be faster to edit. There are UI/UX to be improved, and the team seems to be passionate and willing to listen for suggestion. So, I'm hopeful that it will be improved. Pros I've investigated a few products for creating speech for my videos in other languages. They have never been good enough, especially the voices - they don't sound warm and authentic, they sound very generated. Well, Lovo is the first product that produces voices that would fool me. And that's good enough for me! I waiting for processing of srt files (for video captions) - it'll be a game-changer! Once that's there, my processing pipeline is pretty much complete. Take a listen to the voices - you'll be impressed. Cons Some of the limits could be increased, especially during the initial learning phase when you're trying different things to see what works for you, and burning through credits at the same time. You will love it." June 24, 2021 5.0 Its value for money. Easy to use. Quality voices Pros The voices are so human-like. When I saw Lovo on Appsumo, I wondered how good the app was. I once read about its legendary voices. I had also read some reviews exploring user feedback. I already have a few other popular texts to speech apps that I have been using lately. I gave it a test and was immediately blown away. The voices are so human-like. I even had it try to say, “I love you.” I love the voices. Lovo is easy to use sends your text to the selected voice software, which speaks out your selected text in a voice that you have chosen. The app can be used to translate any text to voice and is good for voice overs. I will be using it to transform numerous contents into audio for listening. I went all out for the 3 tiers, because I believe that this is a good deal, worthy of investment and as the saying goes, “when opportunity calls….” Cons Download limitations. However, the voices are wonderful. At this price point, I think it is a no-brainer addition to your toolbox. I will test it more and if needed update my review, but for now, I can definitely recommend LOVO! The \[SENSITIVE CONTENT is very engage and open to customers feedback and opinion . Pros after comparing various tts and doing more testing among the top few, i'm happy I made the decision to go for this LTD. just try it out for yourself and you'll be amazed on the voices. some do sound robotic, but there's natural voices which does a better job than myself. now i can rely on it to produce content without me doing all the speaking. Cons The limitation on the number of characters / words for download should be increased. Using LOVO, it was very easy to adjust the speed for certain sentences to be quicker/slower, making any unnatural parts become natural again. Pros LOVO have a lot of different voices to choose from, and most of them sound very natural. I have used similar products before and they all have robotic voices to choose from, and even with adjustments, it is still unnatural. Cons Although they already have a lot of voices, they could add more voices in other accents, such as New Zealand, Chinese (Cantonese). Pros I purchased a lifetime deal through Appsumo so the price was very affordable Cons I was not able to deploy this product. I attempted to use it to create an IVR for our phone system. The voices were robotic sounding, used odd inflection, and straight up skipped certain bits of text. I spent way too much time (several hours at least) trying to compensate by trying different voices, intentionally misspelling words to try and get the pronunciation and inflection dialed in, etc, before finally giving up. June 23, 2021 5.0 Pros For my use case this is great. I mainly need this for video voice overs, and the voices they have are just what I needed. The voices sound great and aren't robotic (most of them, some needs more work). But what sells me the most on this are the unique character voices. There is one that sounds like a wizard (what I call the game master voice), and one that sounds like a cheerful teenage salesman. These sound so human-like and are full of personality. They should work great for ads and fun video. This isn't available to competitors so far, from my own experience. Cons The down side is not all voices have this level of quality. Only the great ones are really great. And some languages are not yet supported. There are some features found in other products I wish to see in LOVO. Play.ht has wordpress plugins, Listnr has podcast hosting, MicMonster has pitch/read-speed controls. I want to see more from LOVO in the future. Review Source BG Brian G. It's just an amazing tool that does exactly what it says it does. Pros I honestly went into this fully expecting to be refunding. I don't usually do that with deals but the examples on youtube, etc. I personally thought sounded pretty bad. I still wanted to give it a try as I don't have any tools like this yet and I felt like having one in my arsenal would be worth it. Imagine my surprise when pulling up some of these voices and customizing the text to their strengths. This is shockingly good! I sent some generated text to some friends and they said they 100% could not tell it was fake. Highly recommended! Cons I suppose there could be more features in general. The platform overall is super simple. Maybe folders would be good for organizing previously generated content. Also, some of the models sound bad to me but there are many that sound great. I find the voices on Lovo to be on another level compared to everyone else! I plan to use this for my marketing videos. I also love all the small features like pronunciation editor that make the overall voiceovers just way too good! I was truly surprised by the voice quality on Lovo when I first tried them. Also, I really feel the Lovo landing page needs a CDN ;) The images and assets are bit slow to load. Perhaps something to consider for future? Pros Lovo is awesome, and IMH opinion their voice engine just sounds so much real compare to other that is obvious that has been generated by a computer - so robotic. For our case not easy to use with larger text that we want to control. Pros The output of the voice are still not 100% human, some of them however are surprisingly good. Not yet found alternatives with that quality in that price segment Cons The way they work with paragraphs. It is hard to control how lines and paragraphs are treated manually and it will cost you a lot of time.
