I enjoyed it, it was different. And the questions were interesting. I like the technical questions, it does seem like a fairer way to assess people. But I do think having some scenario based questions could also help understand the participant better. eg. "in this context from a team or managerial challenge, what choice would you make -- A. B. or C?" As this can help you gauge what the participant values or how they view different problems. (Just a thought, use it, don't use it).

Pros

Simple multiple choice questions based on foundational technical knowledge. The assessment didn't steal any ideas from me.. ie. it wasn't a set design task that can be used to exploit participants for free work under the guise of "skills assessment". I appreciate this about HiPeople. The fact that they didn't ask for free ideas via a fake design brief (which companies generally use for their own benefit by using you and wasting your time, misleading you in thinking you're working toward a potential hire), makes me respect and trust them even though we've never met. One of the few assessments which didn't leave me feeling used or exploited by the end of it. Thanks.

Cons

I think there is some room for improvement, quick fixes that can help reduce bias: 1. Such as including icons with text- as not all people know the names of specific functionality, but as visual learners they can easily recognise it's purpose by it's icon. 2. Perhaps, language and communication preferences in the beginning could be added. That might help level the playing field to ensure everyone is answering in the language they prefer best, using the method they are most comfortable with.. ie. verbal vs written responses.

The way the applicant was guided into the exam. Exam was a bit difficult for the 1st stage however it was so challenging.

What I like most about HiPeople is the fact that, having to work around it is not as hard as it looks.

Cons

Count down time on some question sessions is small, therefore it makes it a little difficult to manoeuvre around all questions.

10/10 would recommfnc companies start using HiPeople to make the hiring process easier. I believe it is meant for businesses such as schools, banks, hospitals and even major corporations.

Pros

The automatic link to send to references so that they can just reply and send back their responses. My references said it was super easy to navigate.

Cons

There are no complaints from me as this seems to be more effective than what is done in the past when hiring.

The test was really interesting to complete and fill up and I think it gave me a very good idea of how the job would look like on a daily basis.

Pros

The reminders per email I found them really helpful. I always got fast replies and the test was really good-going, clear instructed and easy to follow-up. The whole proccess felt safe and reliable. I found it really interesting to read and answers to all the possible scenarios in this role and I found it very informative. It will help me for sure really much for the next steps in my intervierws.

Cons

Maybe I would say that I didn't like very much that at the beginning it showed up that the camera could be needed, which wasn't at all and also that the test can last for 1 hour or so, which I think it's not so reliable because the test can be done way quicker.

Pros

The platform was incredibly easy to use. I didn’t run into any issues using it on Safari, and everything loaded quickly and smoothly. It felt intuitive and user-friendly from start to finish.

Cons

When recording the video, I had to go out of the full screen, which made it hard to see if everything was working properly. I wasn’t sure if that might affect my results, and it caused a bit of uncertainty during the process.
