Overall, our experience has been disappointing. While the system covers basic HR tasks, it falls short in terms of usability, functionality, and support. Processes that should be straightforward are often overly complex, and key features feel underdeveloped. Combined with limited and inconsistent customer support, it has not delivered the efficiency or value we expected from an HR system.

Pros

The new starter and leaver processes are relatively simple to use, with guided steps that make these tasks straightforward. Aside from these basics, there are few features that stand out as particularly strong or beneficial.

Cons

Where do I begin? Customer support: Very disappointing. Communication is minimal unless it’s time to discuss renewal, at which point responsiveness increases significantly. Outside of that, support feels disengaged and unhelpful, which makes resolving issues frustrating. Usability and setup: The system is not user-friendly. Setting up something as fundamental as the appraisal cycle was overly complex and time-consuming, to the point that we reverted to paper-based processes this year. Functionality limitations: Key features feel underdeveloped. The organisational chart, for example, is not interactive and only displays the full company view, making it difficult to navigate and impractical for everyday use. Overall, the system feels clunky and inefficient, and it doesn’t support basic HR processes as well as expected.

It is a UK system so some features are UK specific, we have employees in ROI and there is different references i.e. NIN vs PPSN .

Overall, my experience with \*\*Access PeopleHR\*\* has been positive—it’s easy to use, saves time through automation, and simplifies everyday HR tasks, though some features could be more flexible.

Pros

Access PeopleHR solves the problem of fragmented and manual HR processes by centralising employee data and automating routine tasks. This benefits me by saving time, reducing errors, and making everyday actions like booking leave or accessing information quicker and more efficient.

Cons

Some features can feel limited or not very intuitive, and reporting/customisation options aren’t always as flexible as needed, which can make more complex tasks a bit frustrating.

Pros

I find Access PeopleHR to be a reliable and easy-to-use HR system that effectively handles core needs such as employee records ,absence tracking and document management. I appreciate the self-service features for reducing admin time. The interface is very practical, offering great value for money. I also like the smooth setup process, and it seems that the staff respond well to it based on the good feedback we receive

Cons

The reporting feature could be improved. Sometimes is not clear how to build reports, it could be more intuitive

It’s been reasonable so far. Training wasn’t great but fortunately with the ai help that has been introduced it has helped

Easy to use and very straightforward. Good presentation, personalised. All in one place for easy access

Cons

training was very poor and not fluid. Really could have done with more understanding on how it works with access overall.

I feel that it is easy to learn and can be quite useful to learn all the different aspects of it especially when inputting for payroll

Pros

The system is very user friendly and everything can be accesses with ease. I particularly like the drop down interface. it's great for keeping track of holidays and absences.

Cons

The reports can appear quite clunky and the system can be quite slow at times. Not always mobile-friendly or convenient on smaller screens
