Positive experience, a good HR system which you can adapt to make it work for you while still being a simple user friendly system. There are some limitations but the team are helpful and responsive.

Pros

It's a simple, user friendly system. This makes the implementation and roll out a smoother and quicker process as it is easy for employees to understand and engage with. I like the logbook function which allows you to determine the data you want to store and report on. The report builder allows you to report on any data in the system and create filters to narrow down the reports as you need. A really helpful function is that these reports can be turned into live spreadsheets that update each time you open them. This allows you to share the data with other teams without changing the PeopleHR access. The PeopleHR team have always been easy to get hold of and quick to respond to any raised cases.

Cons

Limited ability to amend/edit the fields on the dashboard or employee profile. This comes with being a simple and off the shelf option, which we wanted and has it's pros.

I like it's simple and easy to use interface. I like how responsive and helpful the support functions are. I also like the expense functions

As someone who has worked within many different companies all using different HR systems, this was hands down the best one i have had the pleasure of using so far.

Pros

Its easy and intuitive to use, as someone who has recently joined and not familiar with any of the software that we use, this was by far the easiest to understand which is what you want.

Cons

It was a bit of a pain to initially get set up on due to its integration with all the other platforms, but once we wrapped our head around that it was smooth sailing.

Used for a number of years and simple to manage employee information and absence booking, with good record of past settings.

Pros

Value for money, ease of use. A very simply solution for employees to book and manage their holidays and for management to approve.

Cons

More features than I need, but that's not really something not to like, just makes the product feel clunky and trying to do too much for our needs.

It is functional but the user experience isn't good, and therefore things take longer than they should

Pros

It is useful to have the mobile app, as it makes uploading photos of expenses easier and is useful to check and request holiday when you're not at work (which is when I am usually planning my holidays!)

Cons

The user interface of both desktop and app is very unintuative and hard to navigate. Adding a mileage expense is a set of steps that you'd struggle to guess, you just have to memorise and get used to. I always struggle to remember how to see my upcoming time off

Pretty good I would say - there is a lot of the system that we do not use - would be great to use more but not sure how to. Did a training course at the beginning and it was very intense - it would be good to learn new stuff but I am concerned that any training would be as intense. Need easy, quick, bitesize chucks to be offered.

Pros

It's very easy to use and has a lot of great features, like payroll loader, for example. It's very easy to upload documents.

Cons

I don't like it when pop up boxes randomly appear. Also the training was extremely intense and I don't remember much of it because it was 2 x solid days full on - just too much to take in in one go. I would really like to learn how to use the system more than we do but not sure how to go about this.

It's super easy to set up and setting up ripples is fairly easy. We are a small company so being able to see all of the people info in one place is helpful.

Cons

The main dashboard is somewhat difficult to navigate. It's easy to read to start with but when I dig into some of the data it's hard to understand.

Overall, my experience with Access PeopleHR has been very positive. It has made managing HR tasks much more efficient by bringing everything together in one easy-to-use system, from employee records to leave management and documents. The platform is generally reliable and well-organised, which helps save time and reduces admin workload.

Pros

What I liked most about Access PeopleHR was how easy it is to use and how much time it saves when managing HR tasks. Everything is organised clearly, from employee records to holiday requests and documents, which makes day-to-day admin much more efficient. Their customer support has also been excellent — whenever there’s been an issue or question, the team has been quick to respond and very helpful in resolving it.

Cons

Some features can take a bit of time to fully understand, especially when first using the system or onboarding new staff. Occasionally there are small bugs or slight delays in loading certain sections, which can interrupt workflow briefly. However, these issues are not frequent and are usually resolved quickly through the support team, who are responsive and helpful.

My overall experience with Access PeopleHR has been very positive. It has made HR administration much more efficient by bringing essential processes, such as document storage, holiday management, and sickness tracking, into one easy-to-use platform. The system has been particularly valuable for maintaining compliance, as it allows us to securely store key documentation and keep track of expiry dates without relying on manual reminders. It also supports both managers and employees by making routine tasks simple and accessible. Although there are occasional minor technical issues, the overall functionality, ease of use, and time-saving features make it a very effective HR solution.

Pros

What I like most about Access PeopleHR is its secure and centralised document storage. It’s extremely useful for safely storing important employee records such as right-to-work documents and DBS checks, and it helps ensure nothing is missed by tracking expiry dates. It is also very easy for managers to upload and access training records, which makes maintaining compliance and monitoring staff development straightforward. Another major benefit is the simplicity of HR processes: Employees can easily request holiday through the system Managers can quickly approve leave and log sickness Everything is stored in one place, reducing admin time Overall, it significantly streamlines day-to-day HR tasks.

Cons

The main issue I’ve experienced is a technical glitch when trying to view stored documents. Occasionally, the system displays an error message such as “oops, something went wrong”, which means you have to log out and log back in before trying again. While this isn’t a constant problem, it can be frustrating when you need quick access to important records. Improving the stability of document viewing would make the system even more efficient.
