August 1, 2017 5.0 If your business is looking for a smart HR tool that is both engaging and easy to use then we can highly recommend People HR. Pros I really like the fact the platform is so simple to use. Our teams love the 'thanks' feature and we've gone from being a business that was paper-based to having a complete HRIS in a few simple steps - all with the super folks at People helping along the way. It also encourages our colleagues to be self-sufficient, making them feel more connected to the business. The reporting feature is also massively helpful and you can literally create a report for anything and everything. Cons I would love to see more features available on the app - that's not to say it's basic because it offers so much. Just in our business, many of our colleagues only use a mobile device meaning some of the features aren't so accessible. Review Source MT Matthew T. The system allows you to store data in a easy and confidential way, GDPR was easy because of this as it allowed us to go completely paperless Cons Our company is 24 hours, so it was difficult for using the tap in/tap out system as this product works more on a traditional office environment. June 28, 2017 4.0 I would recommend this software to others once they believe it can suit all of their needs as the service and support is remarkable and the system has worked fine so far minus the expected hiccups when implementing a new software. Pros The software was easy to use and looks good. It also allows users to access the system through their app which has worked well for all staff. Cons The system is not easy to customise as not all organisations would be able to fit into what is already built. I believe their should be more leeway in making minor adjustments to the system to suit specific needs. There is also the issue of the exporting of the built in reports which should be made available in PDF form for easy download. " March 8, 2018 4.0 The team at People HR have been so helpful and quick to reply to my emails (in particular Elle and Abbi). Thanks for all your patience and support so far :) Pros We are so happy to finally be paperless and to have uploaded all our documents to People HR! It is brilliant to manage staff holidays and sickness too and the latter has definitely improved since we formally monitor it and use the Bradford system on People HR. It's also a great system to share news with our staff like when I have added the weekly team meeting minutes or a new policy. I am now in the middle of using the system for our annual appraisal and I am really pleased with the way this works. Cons The only thing I wish were different would be to have folders in the document section (and maybe the news section too) so that it is easy to find what we are looking for. Review Source FE Fay E. Cons It has no guidelines to solve user problems .The platform assumes users have been trained in IT and offers no options for self employed people to state they choose how much annual leave they may allocate themselves. Pros That it is always in development so will always improve The features are extensive the planner functionality is really user friendly Cons In set up it would be good if there is a configure to bespoke templates option based on common processes - e.g. new starter, leavers, probation reviews, contractual updates etc or if this can be revisited post set up once the system is up and running. to help with internal resource and delivery. Pros Organised system that is pretty self-explanatory. Helpful functions such as the calculation aid on salary/holiday details. The ability to change the employee/manager/admin access is great. Query function is very useful and the dashboard contains a lot of 'at a glance' information which is very useful. Usually if you have a query about how to use the system the answer will already be on their information page. Cons Whilst organised and somewhat user friendly, to use the system can sometimes take up a lot of time with annoying little features such as the automatic scroll down to the current month on the Planner, the inability to open up many records at once,. Pros It is logical to use, appealing as a user to explore. Cons I need to explore more in depth processes , and there is not as sufficient guidance as I feel is needed. We looked at several different HR applications prior to implementing PHR. We also tried a solution that ended in disaster as it was never actually implemented. PHR is the best product on the market for a small business and gets better with each upgrade. For Raventa it is one of our 3 platform systems alongside our ERP and quality systems. Cons The things I dont like are few and crop up on an occasional basis. Off the top of my head...there are some features that dont function as I think they are intended but they are minor functions. I would say that the main challenge is applying security (authorisation) rights and not being able to simulate what the intended effect is (eg: simulate a log in as the end user). Pros Generally easy to use, a wide variety of features complete with Self Service option, while workflows allow a high level of automation. Also available via mobile app which makes applying for holidays particularly easy. Online help is very useful while support is very satisfactory and quite prompt. Cons Does not really cater for a multi-company environment so some compromises are expected. The system also tends to cater more for the UK market so some features may be misleading. The mobile app is great but basic so looking forward to more enhancements in the future. Review Source LL Lucy L. Pros It hands the responsibility of admin back to the employee which is really time saving. Easy to navigate and really fantastic customer service when you do get a bit stuck. Aesthetically pleasing, the dashboard is really useful. Cons Levels of confidentiality can be difficult to work out but it makes sense once you get the hang of it. Review Source RS Richard S. Good for a manager to easily check who else if on leave within their team when looking at requests, or even for regular users to see if a colleague is in a certain day. Cons Quite a confusing piece of software, every time I go to put in a medical request, I have to click around to remember where to go. (Its not on planner, which is the obvious choice, but instead you click Me -> Planner) Yes both names are the same, but take you to different areas in the package. Review Source GR Georgina R. The workflows save time with onboarding and offboarding and the ability to run queries off of anything in the system is very helpful. Cons Sometimes the functionality of the system doesn't always work. Occassionally there are simple tasks that I would expect it to be able to do but it can't. The support team are great at getting back to you on any queries. Pros Great visual dashboard. So easy to move about the system. The menu options are clear. You can set up your own logbooks to report on what data you need. Great Customer Service Support. The Help articles are clearly set out, and very useful. The enquiries are so quick to run. Cons It would be good if we could select what columns appear when you click on the employees tab. Although there are some minor snags that we would like to improve, the customer service so far has been great and the company seems very open to suggestions! Pros The site is easy to use and largely self explanatory. The planner in particular is a great feature which managers and employees will find very useful. The Dashboard is great and gives you all the important data you need a first glance! Cons There is currently a character limit on the log book text box and text field which might cause some issues. Also I feel like some of the names could be improved, i.e. logbook. Also the news feed seems a little outdated in comparison to the rest of the site (doesn't include GIFs ...)
