Easy for staff to use the self service. Ability to set up workflows. Support from helpline so far has been very good. Cons Lack of flexibility for different types of absence request to go to different people. Would be nice to have the option for staff to complete forms on line(where they have to enter data) and sign them then save onto their "file". Review Source FT Francesca T. Very excited to continue to use and adapt into our process Pros The ease of this product and how adaptable it can be to the needs of the bsuienss Cons My only con is the fact all help are done by tutorial videos and not necessarily help with nuances you may occur when you would like human interaction more for training purposes. The planner is very useful to allow me to see when my staff are on leave. Integration of the planner with Outlook calendars is very useful. The ATS feature allows us to track vacancies and applicants through our recruitment campaign - something we didn't have in place beforehand Cons Built-in reports are useful (like overall holiday bookings) but don't allow you to click in to overall stats to get a breakdown (i.e. show outstanding holiday bookings by employee). Also sometimes some error messages are not explained enough - for example until I contacted help via online chat (which was very good) it was unclear why a combination of holiday and other event bookings wasn't being accepted (turned out as it was half day to one and half day to another they had to end / start at 1:30 which wasn't clearly indicated) Review Source TH Tanita H. From submitting expenses to recruitment to requesting holidays, PeopleHR allows any number of employees from any type of business to manage their data, and have their line managers approve actions of various elements. The system is also priced very reasonably, and there is a great deal of online support available to help use the system. Pros The range of modules included Cons Although the system is highly comprehensive, it can be quite complicated to use for the average employee...maybe it would benefit companies if the system was simplified. The customer service is perfect, they are friendly, courteous and very helpful Cons We always need to explore to get what we want, unless we contact the PeopleHR team. Pros Individual log in and user accounts makes the self service part of PeopleHR really user friendly and saves HR a lot of time. The interface is good and simple to use for the most part. Cons The reporting is really poor, the system is a little clunky and outdated and admin accounts are cluttered with a lot of information that is hard to find unless you become an expert in knowing the system Review Source ST Serena T. The organizational chart is also a neat feature to lay out the organization and all of our employees. Cons PeopleHR seems to be geared more towards companies in Europe or the UK. It was a little difficult navigating through the system. In addition, to personalize the program towards the company, PeopleHR requires data imports and integrations to be done by your company's own IT department. Review Source JR Janet R. Pros I like how customer service is pretty on point and how a lot of data is available to you, when you take the time to learn about the system. Cons PeopleHR is not very flexible. For example: you cannot remove items from a self-populated drop-down if previous employees (leavers) still carry one of those items on their name. Applicant tracking, employee tracking and more. Set up process is straight forward. Cons Customer support could respond a bit faster. Document storage could use some work. Pros The reports The Dashboard The ripple for onboarding and off-boarding The recruitment tool and how you can link it to the companies website. Cons The one think I don't like about people HR is that it does not work together with Payroll systems such as SAGE VIP and in our organisation we find that the leave is a nightmare...mainly because SAGE VIP accrues every month as per company policy but the People HR does not accrue. Always on hand to help, easy to set up and use, no lengthy sign up contract like a lot of the companies I spoke to! Really like the document tab, I've uploaded all our policies and procedures and staff can electronically sign them, less paperwork is always a win! Cons Find it difficult to view the workforce holidays at a glance, doesn't automatically connect with Slack but to be fair you can use an API key to integrate them. Review Source BM Brian M. Could be used to cover Europe (and possibly other geo's) with little tweaking. Cons Some functionality not available e.g. separate data fields for notice period (resignation v dismissal), automatic update based on statutory minimum, and similar. It looks great and is so easy to use and navigate. Cons There is much more development in the pipeline which is great for the future which perhaps you'd want here and now but these things take time and it is being developed based on the wants, needs and desires of businesses who use the system. Cons PeopleHR is a great tool but, it can be quite limited in certain areas and it appears difficult to "make exceptions" for only certain employees. It's just bulk action for everyone. This system has genuinely revolutionised the way our HR department functions. It allows us to present ourselves internally as an innovative and modern business. Pros PeopleHR is intuitive and responsive and its features are regularly updated and improved. The Support function is fantastic, as are the 'How To' videos on You Tube. I've only been using People HR for 6 weeks or so and I am already experiencing the benefits of using the system. Our staff have responded to using it really well and because it is so easy to use, I haven't needed to spend time with them to train them on using it. For example in January next year we will have to add the remaining holidays for this year as it seems that the system will not recognize or will not move the remainings holidays. Pros this system is simple to implement and seriously cost effective for small businesses that otherwise would be doing things manually! Cons so far I do not have many cons to report.
