Really positive overall, best system ever used. The system allows you to easily maage your employees, run reports, issue notifications, reminders etc.

Pros

Wide range of areas that link intot he HR Employee Cycles, i.e. ATS, Training, absence management, Ripple notifications, HRMI reporting etc.

Cons

Some of the modules do not allow user to customise, i.e. notifications on employee performance and scoring wording.

### "Very Poor Product"

Overall very poor, would not recommend. We will not be renewing our contract. Lots of compliance issues, system is clunky and it's not presentable. It doesn't look like a finished product.

Pros

Ability to create logbooks is helpful for running internal processes however there are lots of limitations e.g. logbooks cannot be printed and the landing page for logbooks looks terrible like a program that is still in testing phase.

Cons

Software was oversold from the beginning, it's clunky and the consultants don't know the product well. It was supposed to integrate with our payroll system (another Access Group product), but the consultants were unable to provide a correct demonstration of how this would occur. Performance management module is inflexible and out of date with modern concepts of Performance Management. There is a major flaw with the employee documents section where if you give employees access, they can delete their own documents. There are lots of compliance risks and red flags too we have had to engage lawyers due to employee complaints about certain information being made available on the system which is in breach of privacy laws. Despite raising these issues repeatedly, we are not seeing any improvement in the product or the level of support provided.

### "Straightforward and user friendly."

I've used PeopleHR in a previous organisation, so when looking for a system it felt like the obvious choice. I wanted something I had full understanding of so that I could support our people for what was a big change for them. PeopleHR has enabled me to have a single source of truth for our employee data, and saves me bags of time each month. No more spreadsheets! We've linked PeopleHR into our payroll software too - Paycircle - which has streamlined processes and increased accuracy. I like the different modules and having a system that we can build upon in time.

Pros

As a smaller employer with no previous system, I have found the implementation of PeopleHR simple and straightforward, and most importantly easy to use for employees with no experience of using a HR system previously.

Cons

I don't like the bot and would much rather be able to easily access a real person to speak to when I have queries. It feels convoluted and not very helpful at times, and I use other sources to get answers to questions.

Pros

I like that you guys are trying to improve things. It seems you're actively trying to improve the user experience.

I don't like the limitations of the system, I have had to find a lot of work arounds that we can't do anything about. I don't need anyone to reach out to me about it, I've already gone through this many times with you guys - it just is what it is.

Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience with PeopleHR. The digital assistant is helpful and easy to use, and I really appreciate how easy it is to speak directly to an agent whenever I need extra support. Each time I’ve reached out, the agents have been friendly, approachable, and willing to take the time to help me work through any questions. The system makes booking holidays, hospital appointments, and sickness quick and straightforward, which removes a lot of stress from managing time off. I also find the layout clear and easy to navigate, with everything I need accessible in just a few clicks. It’s convenient to check information, update details, and keep track of requests without any confusion. There have been occasional minor issues, such as reminders being sent for old events or the mobile app crashing from time to time, but these tend to get resolved and haven’t taken away from the overall positive experience.

Pros

I really like the digital assistant and how easy it is to speak directly to an agent. It is easy to schedule holidays, hospital appointments and sickness. I have had really good experiences when speaking directly to agents and they're always happy to help me try and figure stuff out.

Cons

PeopleHR sends shift managers reminders for years-old events, and the mobile app crashes repeatedly.

### "A system that is improving "

We have been using PeopleHR for just over 6 years now. About 4 years ago we were concerned that the platform wasn't meeting our needs, but we can now see positive developments and improvements in the different features and associated apps.

Pros

As a cloud based platform, it was relatively easy to transfer data from our previous HRIS. The platform also includes (or links to) other Access products such as LMS, performance module etc. We've noticed an improvement in product development comms over the past 2 years, they seem to be investing more money in improving the different elements.

Cons

Some functions still feel quite 'clunky' (eg the ATS, the use of logbooks, the built-in performance module etc). It also took some work to design and set up the ripples/workflows that we use for much of our reporting and notifications.

Overall, it's a product that I feel is value for money, it does have limitations as it's designed for a small-medium business, but it works fine for what we need.

Pros

The planner section is great so enable managers to schedule their teams workload. I like that the people profiles help managers to manage their employees and gives them an oversight of information. The profiles are also clear and easy to use on the surface. However, the intricacies behind some of the processes can be confusing to managers.

Cons

The reporting is complex and not easy to set up. I also found that there was a lack of analytics available, however, we have recently upgraded out package, so hopefully we'll see a difference. I was also disappointed with the lack of AI available, but again, with the upgrade we're hoping to see some new AI features. I have found the customer service to be wanting, I don't feel that we have always had the best support.

### "Good Basic HRIS"

PeopleHR has served us well as a HR system for years now, effectively accommodating our basic tasks, reporting and attendance management. It would be nice for the system to be upgraded to match the more modern, automated and fun looking systems which are on the market these days.

Pros

The document section is extremely helpful, allowing us post updates, letters and training with the ability to have the employee electronically sign. The planner is easy for both employees and managers to use, the feature does holiday entitlement calculations for you, making the process of onboarding and offboarding employees mid year easier. The logbook is also a good feature helping us easily track expiry dates on training and employee manager 1 to 1s.

Cons

A contract directly to customer service was hard to find. The system is basic and employees find it "grey" and disengaging. Employees often complain that they get reminder emails from PeopleHR in the middle of the night. Setting up and tracking tasks is not so straight forward.

Not very good. They are really good at selling but the aftercare is awful. We were sold the platform through our HR provider but they have even pulled away from People HR now and are no longer recommending it

Pros

People HR was sold to us as this wonderful system which can do everything we needed it to do but it is quite clunky and not the easiest of systems to use.

Cons

It looks quite dated, it sometimes can't do simple tasks, some functions are quite complicated. You have also taken away the option to raise support tickets which is the easiest way to get a problem sorted.

Good, there is lots of contact points to get support for both technical issues and contract queries.

Pros

Setting up logbooks to collate data in the way you want is great, and using ripples to automate processes is a great way to save time for our busy HR team. The mobile app is helping staff access their data, book holidays and submit timesheets easily.

Cons

Getting the right access to data for the right people isn't quite there but it's a complicated thing to get right. Logbook set up could be improved, with further customisation options and the ability to print to pdf the data in logbooks as we do use them as electronic forms

Been forced to tie in to another contract due to change from e services to "upgraded system" 10 weeks notice for us to consider the new product, get comparison quotes from other suppliers was not enough time for us given the resources of our company. Will consider not renewing at next available opportunity.

Positive. After a catch up with our account manager, we are certainly utilising it more than we were.

Pros

Easy to navigate quickly, particularly with the new layout. The report function is very useful and i like the way you can integrate external payroll systems.

Cons

Sometimes certain aspects arent in an obvious place, but once you know, you know. It can be a little lengthy having to change the view tab you are in, but not the end of the world.

Overall peopleHR works very well for us, recent improvements to documentation management have made compliance much easier to stay on top of, and searching information. Approval processes for things other than leave is still clunky.

Pros

Flexibility in logbook design and approval, ability to work with complex working hours patterns and leave approval from email. We have also been able to integrate into payroll and expenses management saving lots of duplication.

Cons

approvals for anything other than leave are clunky, as there is no link in email to take you to the record, and when navigating manually, the default drops onto leave approvals.

Perfect for a smaller business, not sure how well it will scale. Good value for money, good levels of support.

Pros

Simple and intuitive to use, report builder in particular is simple and is simple but effective. I also appreciate the direct access to support via the chat feature. Changes are not complicated and new fields can be added directly in the relevant module which is efficient.

Changes to holidays/holiday plans can be tricky - especially for bought holidays. Having to create a work around via TOIL rather than having a dedicated module for this is not ideal.

### "PeopleHR pros and cons"

We use the basic functionality for booking leave, sick, personal details etc. There are some things that are frustrating but the basic use is good.

Pros

User friendly layout, ability to access on an app. Some help guides are very helpful. AI bot is ok.

Cons

Do 'reset password' function, queries are super confusing to set up (not intuitive at all), as HR Manager & Admin on PeopleHR I do not get automatic notification if someone is marked as sick, even though I'm supposed to go in a mark that I've been notified?

Overall, my experience with Access PeopleHR has been like upgrading from a chaotic garage full of papers to a slightly less chaotic, but way smarter, digital HQ. It keeps employee data, leave requests, and documents in one place, saves time, and reduces mistakes — all while occasionally reminding you that technology has its own sense of humor. In short: mostly smooth sailing, with just enough quirks to keep HR interesting

Pros

Pros? Oh, where do I start! I loved that Access PeopleHR finally let me stop juggling a thousand spreadsheets and sticky notes. It’s like having a personal assistant who never takes coffee breaks, never loses a file, and actually remembers everyone’s holiday requests — basically the dream HR sidekick we didn’t know we needed.

Cons

Cons? Oh, the joy! I loved that Access PeopleHR occasionally reminds you it’s still a computer — like when it insists on doing things its way, or when reports mysteriously refuse to export unless you perform some secret HR ritual. Keeps you humble, really.

### "Easy to use system"

Mainly very user friendly. Looking at information or finding information straight forward. Also running reports/queries very useful and easy to do with lots of options.

Pros

Ease of use. For inputting employee information it's easy to follow, especially the planner section. The support message set up is great. Easy to use and responses usually fix the query and give good clear guidance on how to action something.

Cons

I can always see the full screen, often the side bar is missing in the new view so I have to go back to the classic view. It would be good to be able to edit the leavers wizard once the person has left as we do exit interviews and sometime need to add that information in.

from installation to daily use it has been very easy to understand and use, and has become an important tool within out company.

Pros

People HR is a very easy to use system that tracks everything we need it to track, without over complicating things, everyone finds it really easy to use, and it assists in our day to day running, without over complicating everything.

Cons

sometimes when there is something we do not do very often it can be confusing where to find it, but it normally only takes a few minuets

### "Powerful SME HR solution"

Overall the feedback from HR professionals managing it and, more importantly, the end users has been very good. The vast range of features can be overwhelming for a small team to begin with but with a little patience it is possible to manage a good sized company with only a couple of administrators.

Pros

I like the ease of implementation and ongoing use for HR professionals along with the incredibly broad range of features included. Now that the product has been fully onboarded to the Access group i've found the support has improved along with the ability to be actively involved in creating feature requests for the developers.

Cons

Initially, the app-based experience for the users was very mixed with frequent failures and the login experience during the transition to Access was also a little flaky. Thankfully, all of these issues are now resolved

PeopleHR has enabled us to scale our business from small to medium sized effectively. The introduction of additional features have continued to keep the system relevant to our needsdespite implementation issues.

Pros

Easy to use and modify to requirements. Simple admin and employeer interfaces. App makes is usable for quick access by remote/mobile employees. Ability to create report queries on all elements of employee information. New support messaing function helpful when working with a representative.

Cons

New features often rolled out containing technical issues leading to limited usability. AI support feature can struggle to find relevant solutions or information. People Analytics limited to absence and turnover metrics.

Great. It is so much better than our old system. It's allowed us to be more efficient and organised as a business which is crucial working in a charity!

Pros

I like the user friendly interface as a manager but also the ease for my team booking annual leave and looking at policies. Having 24/7 access to this really helpful to streamline the process for myself and staff. It allows me to track employees onboarding, keep documents tidy such as 121's, hr matters, performance issues and also policies and procedures as well as sickness.

Cons

I don't have any concerns and have never had to use customer support as it has always worked perfectly in all honesty.
