Plus you can get information about employees, and learn more about the people that you’re working with. Cons Sometimes, the visual aspect can make it confusing, especially as companies grow. I think that could be better organized in a way that shows the org chart but doesn’t make it extremely large and show the whole org. Maybe just the area you picked. This is especially helpful when you have never met the person and aren't trying to figure out who they are if you need to speak to them. The overall org chart is also really fun to play with when you're digging down from the top level through everyone's direct reports. It's also great to be able to get a high-level overview of every team in the company in one view. Cons I don't think this is unique to Pingboard, but when there is a lack of profile images then this is not as useful of a tool. I think this is more of a configuration thing in our implementation, but it seems like we have overlapping locations and it makes it confusing that you can "join" a location and takes you out of another one without any feedback that that would be happening. Also, see comment above. Pros That ability to update status/location of employees whether out of the office, sick or working remotely. Cons I dislike the way the organizational chart is set up. July 3, 2019 5.0 Pros As a new hire, being able to see exactly how the organization is lined up is extremely important. In the first few days, you meet so many new people that it's hard to commit everyone's name and position to memory. Pingboard takes the guesswork (and LinkedIn stalking) out of the equation and lets new hires, and even seasoned vets, see who sits where and does what! It is prevalent that I know this stuff and Pingboard has been great in helping me keep it straight. Pros This was my first time using this software as the company I work for is the first to have it. I love it because it not only provides the Org chart but also allows us faces to those names with ease. Cons I wish that it was a little easier to see a full or chart. I'm just nit picking. It's great!
