Project Manager Utilities Used the software for: 2+ years ### "FleetWave review for vehicle management" September 19, 2023 5.0 Using Fleetwave has been a good experience overall, our business was able to streamline our work order management and preventative maintenance for our vehicles as well as track incidents and corrective repairs effectively. Fleetwave significantly cut down on paperwork and it provides us with significantly stronger reporting capabilities. Pros The many modules of FleetWave are fully customizable and that enabled our business to fit the system modules into our current processes along with the ability to create new ones. Leveraging the capabilities of the software we are able to support any new processes and benefit realizations. It is easy to use and navigate with minimal training for users. Cons With the many capabilities of Fleetwave it’s hard to know if you are using it to its fullest capabilities for your business. The ability to customize the program so much also makes it difficult to manage is some cases when you need support. Its user friendly, easy to customize and operationalize / implement. Key actionable notification about the fleet are delivered through either SMS or email. Cons Fleetwave Lacks map functionality. Future development of fleetwave should incorporate vehicle telematics, speed management function of Fleet management to enable it be a Total Fleet Management Solution. Review Source JH John H. Pros Hard to say, every time I think I am enjoying it I run into another issue. Cons Customer support and troubleshooting, nothing seems to be getting fixed when brought to attention. The customer support we receive is excellent. The Chevin Fleet Solutions site is very helpful and the customer representatives are always very helpful. They not only fix the issue we are having but also teach us how to do it, if possible. The Ask the Expert sessions has been the best customer service add on. I learn something new every time and it makes my job easier to do. Pros My vote for FleetWave was based on it being user friendly. The thing I liked the best about it is that the vehicle module had all the information in one place. When looking for information you only need to open the vehicle module. In the prior fleet management system, we had to open each module to find everything about a vehicle. All in one place information works best for us. Cons We had a bumpy start with FleetWave. We initially purchased a custom system because at the time there was not a core model. I was new to my position and had never built or fully managed a fleet system so I was lost and did not get much help from the Chevin program manager. As soon as we had the option to switch to the FleetWave core system and voiced the issues we were having, things started to come together and the Chevin support we received was 100% better and we were guided to where we are now. Even with the bumps, I would still choose FleetWave over the previous system we had. Review Source EG Ed G. We have been able to configure the system to be a very robust platform for the many different aspects of our fleet. Pros The system is very customizable to our needs Cons Everything must be customized to fit even a basic need. Reason for choosing FleetWave I was not involved in that process. Pros The product is pretty straight forward and easy to use, especially the main features like vehicle, journey, and fuel management. The implementation team were very supportive when it came to customising the system for our organisation's specific purposes. Cons The initial train the trainer sessions did not cover all of the tools, features, and capabilities of the system so after one year of using it, there are still pieces of it that I don't know how to use or how they work. Customised reports and KPIs are quite difficult to create if you're not familiar with SQL.
