They're able to quickly add contextual feedback and more. Pros The app is just super easy to use. Drag and drop your images onto the site, and Picter does the rest, arranging them in order and then creating a client review link you can quickly and easily send off via email. Client's don't have to make accounts in order to give feedback, and everything is just super easy and straightforward. Cons I'd love to see Picter create integrations with Figma, Photoshop etc. But realistically, that is an added bonus to their already strong product. Pros Picter was off to a great start when they first launched their visual asset management tool. I love that you can quickly organize images (in lots of different file types) via stages of development and then get approval. Also, the ability to have third parties upload images is a huge win if you’re working with a team or contractors. They also provide multiple ways to display materials which is very helpful if you need to present to clients. Cons Right now PDFs are not displayed as a single document, but rather as a series of individual pages. I would love to upload pdfs and allow clients to comment on the whole document at once rather than commenting on individual pages. There is a lot of back and forth communication that happens when you work with a client and it gives you a lot of headaches when you and your client are referring to different things. Picter not only saves me time, but it is also saving me a lot of headaches as well. Pros Versions. The ability that Picter automatically detects and creates versions is a huge time saver for me. By any chance, if the customer wants to go back to the previous version, I don't have to fret if I had overridden the design in my source file. Picter keeps versions, so you can quickly locate the previous design. Cons I wish Picter also extends its features to websites as well. And so it is. Now I don't want to work without Picter. I can organize everything directly in my workspace, create folders and put designs there for my clients. I then share a link with them so they can view the designs, make comments or - if I allow it - download files or upload their own. It's a real must-have for graphic designers, because it makes collaboration so much easier and I don't have to send emails back and forth anymore. If there's a new version of a design, I can easily update the old one by uploading the new file. It's a lot of fun to work with Picter. Cons A big minus point for me is that the entire platform is in English, even though it is a German company. My German customers know little English and are therefore overwhelmed. I have already chatted with the support and unfortunately a translation into other languages is not planned for now. I find that very unfortunate. Also customizing the email notifications and setting your own sender address would be desirable. Pros This is a great system for getting feedback on static images and video. The tools make it pretty easy to use and set up. It doesn't have a steep learning curve for clients who need to log in to make comments. Cons I wish/hope they add tools for commenting on websites. Right now the only option is to take a screenshot and upload it, but it would be great if you can add in a url and that would allow them to comment via a layer on top the site. I was using InVision for this in the past, but now I'm Picter all the way. Picture looks stunning. You can see how much thought was put into making the UI/UX appealing, which is critical when showcasing your design work in front of clients. The process of uploading files and sharing them is really simple. And their workflow to go from draft to approved to finalized is really helpful, as well. You can adapt Picter to work the way you work. I was already liking the tool when I found a feature missing that was very important for me. Got in touch with their support (they reply really fast!) and they told me the feature was in the roadmap but it wasn't a top priority. A week or so after, I get the news they released an update and now my requested feature is available. This made Picter a 100% match to what I needed. Their support was excellent in communicating with me, managing expectations and delivering a fix! Cons The only thing I didn't like (trouble with zooming in and scrolling up/down on large images) was taken care of a week or so after I brought the issue up.
