While there are billing options for avoiding monthly software costs, in my opinion paying for this software and having access to it anywhere at anytime on all my devices is well worth the cost. Pros Simplicity of real time time entry and accessibility via the cloud. I also like that it integrates with my bookkeeper's accounting software. Cons I haven't used it long enough yet to find something I don't like. So far it's been pretty seamless. Reason for choosing Bill4Time I spoke with other attorneys about the billing software they used and ultimately concluded Bill4Time would be the best fit for my practice and what I needed it to do. I've told every one of my freelance designer friends about it. It is invaluable to me. Pros The software is SOOO easy to use. It has saved hours and hours of time each month on my billing and has helped me gain more than a 30% increase in my billable hours. I also love being able to pull reports. I can get an excellent picture of how much I'm billing, who I'm billing, who has NOT paid me, etc. It has absolutely been the most significant game-changer in my business. Summaries of all types are easy to determine and obtain reports for, we just love it! Pros The ease of data entry is second to none. We have been users of Bill4Time for more than 8 years now and honestly we are so grateful to have found this software. It makes our project management seamless. It is the only one I found that did both well. Avoiding the time it takes to move timekeeping records into an accounting program every month is a fantastic feature! Pros This software is fantastic! It's affordable and the support is the best I've ever had from any company. It is intuitive and is easy to figure out if you've made an error anywhere in your accounting. I do have trouble getting invoicing to go smoothly. There are a lot of variables and a set system sequence to arrive at getting the payments applied to the right matter and getting the invoice finalized. The intuitiveness is there, but there is quite a lot to be intuitive about- many settings. Pros We're very happy with this product and all of our attorneys use it to enter all time entries for work performed. I especially like how easy it is to locate the case and enter the time worked. Cons Double entries were common before, but it seemed the company has fixed that problem. The best feature is that you can see all of your unbilled clients on one page, how much you have not billed them, etc. It is so much easier than other billing software because you just click to generate the invoice. Also, the batch billing makes it super easy to create all invoices at once. Cons I do not really have any complaints about the software. The only thing i have noticed is that Smokeball billing has more features, but for me those extra features are not necessarily needed so I like the simplicity of Bill4Time. Review Source MJ Mike J.
