Owner Health, Wellness and Fitness, 1-10 employees Used the software for: 2+ years ** Overall Rating 1.0 ** Ease of Use 1.0 Customer Service 1.0 Features 1.0 Value for Money 1.0 Reviewer Source Source: Capterra May 4, 2026 "Not set up for those on the individual plan with in-person studio spaces" **Overall:** I have already cancelled my plan for next year and about once a month when someone in the industry asks if I would suggest Arketa as a platform, I tell them the truth about my experience. **Pros:** I liked the user interface and the ease to embed webpages into my own website. I also appreciated the ease of getting set up with Arketa, there were absolutely no hoops to jump through. **Cons:** As a customer, I am not valued at all. They state that they have studio support available on weekends, yet I am never able to get in touch with people. They raised my yearly plan without any notice, and when I requested support, they are not able to provide any proof they they sent notice. They have also made payouts nearly impossible, and have held my money for 2-3 weeks now, with no support given (despite multiple requests) for the payout to be made. At an individual plan, they take 6% of all profits as they pass on the Stripe processing fee and have their own fee. They market themselves as the affordable alternative yet every single option is an up-charge. I have had reoccuring issues where if I enable referral codes for clients, their referral code will pop up with a competitor studio's name within it, which is a real great way to drive traffic to my studio as it just creates confusion about the brands and reminds students about the competitor's studio. Their software team does not care about this at all, so to save face, I am not able to have referral codes on at all, which is such a missed opportunity. **Alternatives Considered:** [ABC Glofox](https://www.capterra.com/p/136861/Glofox/), [Momence](https://www.capterra.com/p/229516/Ribbon/) and [Mindbody](https://www.capterra.com/p/40229/MINDBODY/) **Reasons for Choosing Arketa:** Arketa seemed easier to use and more intuitive for a smaller studio. I liked the individual plan but really feel their fees are horrendous and just make up for the lower priced individual plan.
