January 20, 2021 5.0 Simple because they did the hard work of moving my videos over from Wistia. Pros I love all the features but my favorite is the advanced pixeling you can do with videos. I could go on and on about the customizations possible, smart thumbnails, preloading streaming technology they use, the ability to create your own video channel, snapbyte; amazing, Automated captions that are extremely accurate, subtitling videos in other languages, real-time analytics, video stealing protection but I think you get the idea. They even helped me move everything from Wistia over for a hassle free move. Cons The only thing would be that they could give more features with limited usage instead of no usage without upgrading but its a business and they have to make money. I started off buying one code on AppSumo and, after I had used Adilo for a bit, I went back and did the full stack of five codes. Pros The Channels feature is really the one thing that I think is best about this software. it looks nice without being too "busy" and gives me a lot of control over how my videos are presented and how they look, including the option to had higher level security the videos. Customization is always good and you get that with Adilo. In app recording is nice for a quick video or screen capture, but not the reason I made the purchase. Lastly, the generous storage and bandwidth limits alone make this a great deal. Cons It takes a bit to figure out the work flow, so you need to use the software to get used to how it works, but once you figure out how everything works, it goes well. Reason for choosing Adilo Adilo is a better bang for the buck and seems a bit more polished than a lot of other alternatives out there. The combination of features and price makes Adilo a great addition to your work flow if it involves any video at all. June 23, 2021 5.0 Segmenting viewers and sharing relevant content with the right geography captioning of my videos conversion testing without depending on any other analytical tool Pros Most of the videos that i produce are viewed by people across the globe, this tool helps me autocaption my videos (something that i used to keep going back to you tube for) and allows ad free streaming (with youtubes new policy change, my paying customers are also bombarded with ads). The cherry on top being my videos are encrypted and i can also geo fence and restrict users from a specific geography from viewing my content, in contrast, i can create two sets of contents that cater to two geographies and manage them using this tool. Cons The import options are not yet live on the tool, i have close to 200 videos on you tube and what it means is that i now need to import them one by one, the import option is being worked upon and should be here soon, but its not live now and its a real pain at the moment. Imagine hosting allows you to record 4K videos, upload up to 10 files at once, different resolutions of each video, you can create video-lists, direct links to streaming mp4 and m3u8 files , embedding videos using a standard iFrame or embedded JavaScript, video viewing pages and comments, add chapters to your videos, ... I really like the temperature map, which shows me "how interesting" my videos are and let's not forget that Adilo can save potential customers according to how they viewed the video and then you can export, delete, archive them ... Cons It is true that so many options take time. Known features are set up similarly to other providers, but Adilo has a large number of features that other hosts do not provide - and this needs to be studied and set up. When I purchased Adilo it's nice to see almost the same with Vimeo but with more features not only hosting my videos. Additionally, I can experiment with my video campaign to determine which video performs better than the other. Marketing feature: You can place a lead captures, CTAs, and many interaction tools inside your videos. Pros Adilo provides unlimited storage, gives you a 100-min captions and translations feature, split test your videos, clean UI easy to navigate. A new level of hosting andpretecting your valuable content with a high-performance video delivery using CDN. Support is excellent; they respond in less than 24 hours. Cons Limitations in bandwidth are a potential disadvantage. However, Adilo does not provide unlimited storage, so as you grow you will be limited. Pros First of all, account activation and onboarding experience are smooth, lean and to the point. UI and UX are clean and organized, most of the functions do come with quick tutotials which is well thought of. Video uploading, processing and streaming work well with detailed analytics. Adilo presented itself as a mature platform here (not beta)! DRM feature is highly secure to protect your videos from being downloaded (HLS is uncompareable, most of the time can still be downloaded). But, it will eat up your DRM lincenses pretty fast as it is consumed per views. Also hope that there will be option to enable/disable DRM for already uploaded/existing videos, instead of need to re-upload again. A/B split test feature is useful and stand out from other video hosting competitors, wish the loading distribution can be adjusted. Cons Hope to see more integrations with CRMs, Email marketing platforms, or webhooks integration which can be very useful. We have DRM plus analytics on ADILO are much better. We are waiting that Vimeo integration with ADILO works properly to migrate. On Vadoo.tv you cannot upload several videos at once. Plus Vadoo.tv analytics are basic. I am going to give you an example. We sell high valuable video content. One video can cost $7,000. In ADILO we got the user information watching the video, we can protect the video, while on Vimeo and Vadootv that's impossible. We can even locate the user confirming whether his location matches the order. Plus, we enabled geolocation, i.e. there are many countries we restrict our sales. There's plenty of room for growth and the pricing is very good, better than competitors. Cons We only did not like the fact that one uses DRM licenses when playing video from the dashboard, please change this. I always used to battle with slow embeds with my previous provider so the fact that Adilo takes load speed seriously is also such an amazing feature for my business. Overall my experience with Adilo has been exceptionally positive and I would highly recommend them to any business that uses video. Pros I love the fact that I can apply dynamic watermarks to my videos to protect them. I also really like that they offer unlimited video uploads, speed optimized video embeds and generous bandwidth. Cons As a fairly new company, their software doesn't have a ton of integrations with other software yet. In the meantime, I just use Zapier so it's not a huge deal. It also prevents piracy of my courses with DRM controls on each video. Pros It's really easy to stay organized. I create a lot of content, so I need to keep track of it all. Adilo has an super-simple way of organizing content into project folders, so I can keep all of my content for the various video courses that I create all together in one place. With one click, I can have all the videos in that folder have the same DRM rights, player controls, and player look and feel. It's brilliantly simple. I had looked at Wistia but was put off by being restricted to only 10 videos for $99/month. Adilo by comparison allows many more videos and for less dollars / month. I also like that it's a lot more secure and (they say) can't be downloaded illegally and shared around the web. Cons I haven't found anything I don't like as yet. It's still early days and maybe there'll be something I don't like as I dig deeper into it, but right now it's looks and feels pretty solid. My hope is to migrate from Vimeo for at least one client. Pros Adilo has many features that other solutions, like Vimeo do not even offer. My general take on pros: Add your own domains for video links Define multiple brands that you can then apply to projects/videos Schedule pre-recorded videos as if it were a simulcast with countdown and stream ended. The ability to replace a video file from an existing upload and keep the existing URL...even existing stats. Replicate video settings from one video to another video. Support with Adilo has been great so far Cons Really like everything but just wish I had more bandwidth or at least add-on options to tack on large amounts by month or annual commitment perhaps.
