Pros Video streaming is clean, fast and does not lag like other services. It just works well. Cons Sometimes the features can be overwhelming to take the time to learn, and I am not a patient person. Love that it works well with Spayee. Pros Ad-free video player, marketing features (email capture), integration with Spayee (online teaching platform) Cons The fact that I have to pay for features I don't need in order to get some of the features I DO need. I'm a one-person company and still had to go for a bigger company's deal (AppSumo tier 3) to get more than one domain + DRM Alternatives considered [Vimeo](https://www.capterra.com/p/122348/Vimeo-Pro/) Reason for choosing Adilo Adilo gave me more features for my investment (AppSumo deal). It also integrates well with my online teaching platform. I also liked their roadmap and look forward to what's to come. Review Source RO Ravneet O. Custom embedding \[it's a game changer\] Private projects with playlists \[Haven't seen this combo anywhere\] Cons The visual look of the embedded call to action could get better and responsive. On mobile, call-to-action text gets cut. Maybe we can have a word limit for the headlines and a description section with a smaller font. Alternatives considered [Vimeo](https://www.capterra.com/p/122348/Vimeo-Pro/) Reason for choosing Adilo Vimeo pro lacks features offered by Adilo. I'd say Vimeo business and Adilo are at par in terms of video hosting. But then Adilo also has Audio hosting. I haven't tried it yet. I'm keen on trying. Switched from [Frame.io](https://www.capterra.com/p/148214/Frame-io/) Frame.io doesn't have an embedding feature. I needed one for my website. Review Source Janeiro B. July 14, 2021 5.0 Overall, I like Adilo because they provide m3u8 links and they offer a generous amount of storage and bandwidth. Customer service has been fast and friendly. Pros The advanced video security options are very simple to use and implement. Cons The user interface is a bit clunky presently and I would like to be able to edit video pages and add custom branding. Switched from [Vadoo](https://www.capterra.com/p/206043/Vadoo/) I made the switch because Adilo offers export options (m3u8) compatible with another service I use, so I can use Adilo to stream on demand video. Cons I am sure I will find something that I don't like about Adilo and will reach out when I do. Everything works as advertised. August 12, 2021 5.0 Having a single software platform that contains all these features at a lifetime price allows me to replace other expensive software and programs by increasing the quality of the products by creating exceptional conversion machines. I am going to replace Vimeo and Wistia. Pros \-Fast host of SD, HD and 4K video and audio - Video marking and watermark -Integrations with Zapier, Mailchimp and more - Video streaming programs I could add many others .... Cons I bought Adilo alone 24h I still have to test it thoroughly to understand where it needs to be improved, I would certainly increase the integrations with other software and social networks that are absent. Adilo is our new video hosting service of choice. Highly recommended. Cons It takes us quite a bit of time to upload all our videos to yet another video hosting service, but the time it takes is well worth the investment. Switched from [Amazon S3](https://www.capterra.com/p/174285/Amazon-S3/)[Wistia](https://www.capterra.com/p/82313/Wistia/) Lower cost than Wistia, more powerful and more secure (against theft/downloads) than S3 out of the box. Also being able to secure the video is good. With youtube new ad policy this makes Adilo a good tool. We will be trying out the split test soon. Pros Easy to Use Auto Caption and subtitles Customizable video player Custom playlist, channels and domains Split Testing Marketing tools and analytics Cons No import from youtube - but it is in progress No import from dropbox or google drive - it is in the planned stage Maybe being able to customize the player a little more, but that is the web developer in me talking Review Source EL Efstathios L. Pros 1\.  I bought 1 Tier at APPSUMO of the ADILO video hosting platform in order to test it, with a lot of skepticism in my mind. After exploring it with the help of a friend (who is an expert in this area) we found out that the ADILO video hosting platform is really good with many interesting features, customization options and analytics. 2.  Because I am a professional training provider, it is a crucial factor for my use case to secure my training videos from being downloaded and misused. ADILO has been very well structured and thought out, with several layers of security which gives me a sense of peace of mind. An extra Factor of security is DRM which is provided in Tier 3.3.  So I am convinced I SHOULD buy 2 or 3 extra tiers in order to have DRM security included in my Plan. Cons My only complain and what I recommend them to change is to be more generous with bandwidth per month. And that's why I give them 4 tacos instead of 5 Review Source Justin V. Pros I have been using Vimeo for a long time, love the ability to swap out source files. I am loving the Adilo application to be able to do A/B testing of webinars and get detailed tracking of the play rate so I know what works, and be able to pixel and retarget viewers based on their watch time. From fast loading videos, marketing features, player customization, and overall well-built software. I started on the basic plan and immediately upgraded as I saw the software capabilities inside. Pros The speed of my videos loading, great marketing features, customization of player, and overall the look and feel of the videos. Pros With high storage and considerate bandwidth options, Adilo is ideal for the multiple video channel needs my coaching business requires now and for future scalability. Cons At this early stage of use and implantation, I am yet to experience anything I dislike about the platform. Reason for choosing Adilo Cleaner UI and while doing my research into Adilo, I was impressed with the amount of information available from them regarding their product. June 26, 2021 5.0 My e-learning platform uses a lot of videos, and neither Vimeo nor Youtube where a good solution for me. Adilo IS the solution. Pros The caption editor allows you to upload a SRT file, and then make corrections on the fly. The project feature allow me to manage easily my videos. The branding options make me save time Cons I would like to upload VTT files for captions, not only SRT files. Chief Product Officer Computer Software Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Video hosting with great potential" June 23, 2021 5.0 Our business had used Vimeo for publishing our videos and tracking their performance. I am able to get all the benefits of using the Vimeo platform and MORE on Adilo. I think they have a good product with a great team backing them. I expect them to continue to add features in the future. Pros The key functionality that sold me to Adilo's platform are: \* Has a video-based CTA form that is great for obtaining leads and feedback \* In addition to video uploads, Adilo hosts audio streaming allowing us to market podcasts \* Supports time-based video performance tracking \* Ability to test thumbnails & split test videos Cons \- The main thing that would make it an all-in-one solution would be to have a screen recorder. This is on their roadmap, so I look forward to seeing that come to fruition - Better organization of uploaded videos into various categories and tag support Alternatives considered [Vimeo](https://www.capterra.com/p/122348/Vimeo-Pro/) Review Source CB Candace B. The help videos are excellent and the one time I needed to reach out to Help, they replied practically instantly and even made me my own little video to explain the thing I needed. Pros I was looking for an alternative to You Tube and Cimeo for hosting videos and in the back of my mind I was also thinking, I need to figure out captioning and video marketing. Adilo has this all so although it is much more advanced to where I am on my journey, I took the plunge. And I am pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to use. Cons Not come across anything so far. Some of the functionality is to being needed in - eg social media integrations - but for me this isn’t a big deal as I’m ore launch atm. I mean, all is possible when someone wants to steal your product, but let's be honest, having a border in t hat sense is cool and good. Pros Three answers for this: 1. The protected videos system is AMAZING, you're going to love it if you create online courses or work SERIOUSLY with videos. 2. The marketing options are HUGE and super cool. If you're a marketer and you love to get new leads, Adilo is just for you. 3. Customization. The customization is amazing and easy to use. Cons Based on the plan that you have bandwidth can be a problem, I mean, limits in this app can be a problem, but call the support and they'll find the right solution for you. I have hosted videos on Vimeo for years and while there are some options on there that aren't here yet, I will be glad to stop paying the hundreds of dollars I am each year to them and switch over to Adilo. I am very pleasantly surprised with the level of support. Pros Using Adilo is mostly intuitive. It does what it says it does, and well. One thing that stands out is the team's commitment to protecting videos stored on their platform from piracy. This is especially useful for Course Providers. I really like to the ability to have your own "Channels" and adding beautiful looking chapters to videos. The service can stream 4K video. Depending on the plan, you can also have transcribing and sub titles done right within the app. Oh, and you can add interactivity to your videos, like CTA's and email capture before or after viewing. Cons There is only one thing I do not like. It has to do with the naming convention of the video links. I reached out to support and they are being very attentive. So I believe this issue will be handled soon. Reason for choosing Adilo Value Review Source Wesley "Wes" N. I wanted a dedicated video hosting platform and the additional features make this an attractive platform with interactive videos - CTA buttons in videos that make lead generations easy - clean, simple interface and so much more, like CNAME. The tool is intuitive and good for project management requirements. It also offers features to generate leads. Pros Protecting your content and keeping it free of distractions is critical in today's world. Adilo helps make your content work harder for you by building in easy lead generation, analytics and more. Cons Credit based features offer reasonably priced additional plans, and these are necessary since they tie-into other paid services.
