It is so helpful for me to understand my pay (see by gross income, how much I worked, how much I pay in taxes and benefits, etc.). This is extremely helpful for me to better budget my personal finances. Pros I love using the ADP app to check my pay details every pay period and to refer to in between pay periods. My favorite feature is the statement views! I love being able to have all my statements in one place that I can access at any time. I also enjoy how it clearly and visually breaks down how much your gross income was (base pay, overtime, overtime unit number, overtime rates), where it was all allocated (taxes, benefits, retirement), and how much your take-home was. It also houses my work tax documents so it really is a one-stop shop for all things pay! Cons Once there was an update where I was unable to access any of my statements which lasted for a bit until the next update came out. They're customer support is terrible and always slow at getting answers back on support tickets. Pros The app makes it easy to find pay stubs, tax docs and request time off. Cons I don't like the fact that you can't upload documents or e-sign docs to your employee profile using the mobile app. Switched from [ADP TotalSource](https://www.capterra.com/p/113109/ADP-TotalSource/) We stayed with in ADP but upgraded to the better version of it. However, having such a glaring hole in services that not only doesn't work properly, but could directly impact the basic function of multiple business, combined with less-than-stellar loading times even on a fast connection, results in a less than ideal app experience overall. It definitely has room for improvements, especially in the submission of requests (and this as such is likely not the only bug in the software, only the one I personally was able to confirm and replicate). Pros It's a nice unified dashboard for all of your payroll information, including your time off accrued, and it has prompt notifications about payday and the amount (likely estimated, usually spot on accurate however) you will receive (showing both gross and net). Cons The paid time off request system does not properly submit on some Android phones, resulting in the request having to be redone from a desktop browser. This can be abjectly infuriating, not only for the rep in question, but also from a logistics standpoint and HR standpoint, as on the user end, it seems to have all gone through. There are also zero confirmation notifications if said requests are approved or denied, which would at least alert users if the request failed. When you first log in, display of ADP's tagline -- "Always Designing for People" -- flashes on the screen. But as a user, I feel the app wasn't designed with me in mind. The process of logging in for the first time was complicated and long. The app itself is hard to navigate and uses acronyms where simple language should suffice. Pros I work at a grocery store where if I want to look at my paystubs, I have to use a company computer. The other option is to download and use the ADP app. I like that the app gives me an option to look at my paystubs at home. It's a fairly straightforward process and I can find out things such as my pay, my contributions to my 401K and so on. I can also look at my year to date earnings and deductions. That's especially helpful cause I have more than one job and I often need to adjust my tax withholdings based on my income. I can also see and print my W-4s, which is always a plus. Cons The process of signing up for the app was incredibly complicated. My HR representative gave me two handouts and I spent a solid 30 minutes downloading and logging onto the app. The app has an option to look at the actual paystub and that's helpful cause the breakdown that the app provides is really confusing. There are acronyms I don't understand and the whole experience is more difficult than it has to be. Review Source JB John B. I liked using ADP and hope that any future companies I work for use it as well. If not it will come as a highly suggested change from me. Pros The overall useability from the moment you start using the software is amazing. With so many of us working in the field away from the typical office / hospital setting , ease of use is BIG! ADP mobile solutions checked that box for sure. Cons When the internet or software is unable to connect to network your information is inaccessible. Things were so different 20 years ago but software like this has made things so much easier and better.
