They keep trying to push rewards and deals that I dont really care about, and it makes it harder to find my actual transaction history quickly. Also, I have noticed that once in a while it wont trigger the NFC reader on the first try, so I have to lock and unlock my phone to get it to wake up. It’s not a huge deal but can be a bit awkward when there is a long line behind you. Pros The thing I like most is definitely the speed of the tap to pay feature. Its so much faster than digging through my bag for a wallet and I never have to worry about if I forgot my cards at home. I also really like how it integrates with my gmail for tracking receipts and stuff. The security side of things gives me peace of mind too since it uses virtual numbers so the actual merchant never sees my real card info. Cons Sometimes the app feels a bit cluttered after the recent updates. It’s not a huge deal though since it still works wonderfully. Additionally, its reputation as a highly secure service, with convenient, easy-to-use UI and ability to transfer money, made me feel very comfortable with the app and I was already familiar with the Google brand.
