February 19, 2026 5.0 My overall experience with Apple Pay is nothing but positive. And it seems to be the preferred method of digital payment for most people I know. I've never experienced any problems or issues when using Apple Pay. Pros In my experience Apple Pay is the fastest and easiest way to pay digitally and it's accepted and used by so many people and in so many places. Apple Pay is a very safe and convenient way to pay. Cons Apple Pay has no real downsides except that it's not accepted at Walmart. Get all yours cards in just one click on your phone. Pros It is a modern payment option for most of my clients, which allows me to give them security and, above all, comfort when making their payments. Cons So far I have no complaints. My only small complaint would be that when you travel to other countries like the Dominican Republic, you can't always use Apple Pay with your American cards, but it only happened to me once so I don't think it's a big deal. Pretty much all of my friends and family also use Apple Pay and they love it as well. Pros I like that it is easy to add your various payment cards to your apple wallet and that you can use it for tap to pay or in online shopping apps. The customer support is great and it is extremely easy to transfer money between people with apple pay because you can send money over text basically. I never have any bugs or issues with Apple Pay and I love it! Cons There is nothing that I dislike about Apple Pay, I could say a million things that I love about it and not one single thing that I do not like! I barely use it in less it's for an apple specific purchase anymore. I would caution that customer support isn't going to be helpful or kind. Pros Easy to use. Was very simple to add the payment method to some of my bill accounts. Keeps track of all in app purchases. It's a cheap option to pay for app purchases and for many other purchases. Cons Customer support is awful. I had money taken from an app that I didn't give permission to do so. Getting a refund was the hardest thing ever. I kept getting bounced from here to there and told they couldn't do anything again and again. Finally after a long time of communication it was fixed but only because i didn't stop pushing for it to be fixed. Also obviously it will take money that you didn't give it permission to take. Again, it is very user friendly that a teenager can use it. Plus, there are not costs to use Apple Pay. Pros I like Apple Pay for it's convenience. Cons The cons for Apple Pay are that you have to reload your balances or keep a credit card on file. I do not like the thought of having a credit card on my phone. Pros Apple pay makes it easier for me to be sure my card info won't be stolen, and also makes it easier to make sure I never lose important cards/tickets/admission information. Cons I don't like that not everywhere accepts apple pay, and I don't think the verification system is as streamlined for people who share cards.
