I've used AxCrypt for many years and been very happy with what it does for me. Pros I probably only use small percentage of the AxCrypt functionality, but it does everything I need. I just encrypt personal files I keep on Google Drive. I especially like the functionality which allows me to open encrypted files, make changes to them and save files without decrypting them first and re-encrypting them. Cons When you delete encrypted files, it appears that AxCrypt keeps a database of all encrypted files and when you simply delete them from the file system without decrypting them first, I get pop-ups indicating that they can't find files.
