If you are looking to be disappointed, be frustrated, waste countless time training and retraining employees and emailing support, then Kenect is the product for you. Pros

It's easy to use and efficient in its performance. It's a giant benefit for my team to communicate with customers without handing out their private contact details. Within the system, they may make recommendations for evaluations and set up automated notifications.

Cons

Unfortunately, I don't think I can send many texts at once in this setting. Because of this, I could not reach out to every person on my contact list with a marketing message. I wish the price were lower.

### "Our go-to text messaging service! "

Kenect is very user friendly, easy to use, and integrates seamlessly with our Cloud management software. It has especially made a large difference in generating reviews from our clients as they are more likely to answer via text.

Pros

Our law firm uses Clio. While Clio has a text feature, Clio texts do not show under the Communications tab. This is inconvenient because we like to see all forms of communication in one tab. Kenect solves this problem. Other features in Kenect - the templates, the requests for review, and requests for payment - make operations smooth and fast as well. Kenect also has a readily available, easy to access support team.

Cons

We were initially having issues with Kenect automatically creating contacts in Clio, which would result in duplicate contacts. However, once this was addressed to the Kenect team, they quickly disabled the feature and now we do not have to worry about duplicate users.

### "Lack of Transparency and 'Renewing Contract'- Don't use Kenect!"

I value transparency/long-term client relationships- Kenect did not provide transparency at the time of signing up with their 'renewal clause' that locks their customers 'into' paying for their services long after they wish to cancel. This is a huge disappointment and can no longer recommend their services.

Pros

We chose to partner with Kenect after a positive experience at a trade show in Las Vegas approximately three years ago. Over that time, the software and app have served our needs well. The on-boarding process was easy and their customer service team is nice while you are signing up.... Not so much when you decide to cancel their service after 3 years of being a customer.

Kenect Team, We chose to partner with Kenect after a positive experience at a trade show in Las Vegas approximately three years ago. Over that time, the software and app have served our needs well. Recently, however, we identified another solution that better fits our evolving business needs. On February 25, 2026, I contacted customer service to request cancellation of our membership. I was told there would be no issue canceling and that someone would follow up with me to handle the offboarding process. After waiting two days without communication, I followed up again on February 27, 2026. After being on hold for 15 minutes, I was informed that we are under contract and cannot cancel until November due to an automatic annual renewal clause. I was told that I had signed an agreement stating that the service would renew each year unless canceled within a narrow window around the original signup date in November, three years ago. I have thoroughly reviewed our account page and searched our email records but have been unable to locate a copy of this contract or any renewal notifications. I have also formally requested a copy of the signed agreement and have yet to receive a response or documentation. It is extremely disappointing to learn that despite our proactive outreach and clear intent to cancel, we are being told we will continue to be billed through November for a contract signed three to four years ago — one that has not been provided upon request. This is particularly frustrating given that a prior representative indicated canceling would not be an issue and even discussed removing the website widget, which has since been taken down. We are no longer using the service, yet we are being told billing will continue. As someone with a background in hospitality and customer service, I value transparency and long-term client relationships. After three years as a loyal customer, I had hoped for a more solution-oriented and professional resolution. Instead, this experience has been disheartening. I respectfully request the following: A copy of the signed contract referenced by your team. Clarification of the renewal terms and any notification policies. Reconsideration of the cancellation request given the circumstances and prior communication from your support team. I look forward to your prompt response and hope we can resolve this matter professionally and amicably. Sincerely, Laurie Davidson-Smith

Pros

Much better than Birdeye, based in the US with US people to talk to for support, not someone overseas, exceptionally efficient and helpful for client management

Cons

I can really think of anything at the moment, it is my favorite software purchase alongside Clio

### "Texting customers made easy with Kenect"

Kenect did not integrate with our DMS, however we were able to export our customer data, which Kenect was able to import for us. We have been able to text our customers regarding service appointments, parts order status, and sales promotions, along with sending out surveys. It has reduced the amount of time spent making and receiving calls

Pros

The thing I like most about Kenect is the ability to mass text our customer base

What I do not like about Kenect is the fact that you cannot mass text images

Cons

Customer support, at times, can be inconsistent in response time. Having said this, I have never had an issue go unresolved.

### "Worst Onboarding/Implementation Experience in my Career"

Now, Request Google Review has stopped working in Kenect, again for no obvious reason. The only positive I have for this is that Kenect has been generally responsive to my emails. Although, I do have to repeat myself far too often. I have spent at least 2 hours per day for over a month now trying to make all of the promised features work as advertised.We also had a day where all texting stopped working. We were not able to receive or send texts, but outgoing texts were showing as sent, so no idea there was an issue until an employee sent a text to our main number that didn't come through.Since these issues, we have had received a few client complaints about non-responsiveness. Prior to the switch to Kenect, most of our reviews mention our great communication. Now, we are receiving calls from clients inquiring why people aren't responding - when we never received a message. If you are looking to be disappointed, be frustrated, waste countless time training and retraining employees and emailing support, then Kenect is the product for you. If you prefer a product that works with integrations, look elsewhere and let me know if you found a good one!My recommendation is to look elsewhere until Kenect gets their act together and provides a stable and reliable product.

Their sales team is really good at selling the product features even if they don't work as advertised.

Cons

First, Kenect wanted to "test" our numbers to verify they could claim them once we were ready to make the switch. In so doing, the representative claimed our main office phone numbers for all of our locations and we could no longer send or receive texts at all from our clients properly. We could not receive texts or live chat leads for a long period of time as a result and lost messages from clients, business leads, and so forth that went into an abyss.We mainly moved to Kenect for Neos integration, which is a legal case management software. At the time, Kenect had no way to limit the contacts synced by case type or even if a case was open or closed. We have contacts dating back to the 1980s/1990s that wound up synced to Kenect and applied as contacts in ALL of our office locations - thus duplicates by location. As a result, we have to be extremely cautious when texting clients to make sure we are texting from the correct location.To try to mitigate the duplication issue before switching to Kenect, we were advised to sync the contacts using a CSV file, then when the Neos sync happens, it would not duplicate the existing contacts. That was incorrect. All contacts went to all locations in spite of that. After spending countless hours trying to fix all of the sync issues, Kenect suddenly unassigned all of our messages from their respective cases ... I'm out of characters, so continued in Describe overall experience...

Reason for choosing Kenect

There weren't any alternatives that fit a multi-location need and had Neos integration other than Kenect.

Overall I do like the application. It is very user friendly and easy to maneuver. However, the things I mentioned above definitely make a huge difference if you are using iPhone VS. Android. I know for a fact that I have missed out on a lot of sales and leads due to this happening. It would be nice if the company coded it a little different to work hand-in-hand as it does with the iPhone software.

I think the software is very easy to understand and get used to. Everything is very straight forward and it definitely would be easy for even a beginner to figure out and use.

Cons

The first thing is a more user-friendly interface when using this application on an Android phone. Most of my colleagues have iPhones, and I have a Samsung S10+. We work in sales and when we get a notification for a new message from a customer showing interest in a unit it shows up on the iPhone in almost like a text format. They can click on it and it goes straight to the message and they can quickly respond. On the Android platform, I get a notification, but when I click on it it does not take me straight to the message. It just tells me that someone has messaged. I have to physically load the app, search for the customers name, and then proceed to respond. Even though this does not seem like a big deal, these messages are what you would call "first come first serve". So whoever responds to the lead the quickest gets the access to the lead. So I am constantly missing out on these leads just for the fact that I have to go through a couple separate steps to get to where I can respond to the message. One other small thing is it when I am responding to a customer and lets say I get another message from a different customer, if I click off of that first message that I was typing to read the 2nd customers response, the initial message that I was typing up is deleted. I then have to proceed to re-type the whole message. And sometimes this can be a pain if you took some time to structure the message properly and you have to completely redo it.

It's easy to use. The clients love that they can text and get a quick response. I love that I can also share documents instantly with the clients.

Cons

When inputting a clients name it doesn't say if there was another person with that same name.

Kenect is the modern remedy for customers who won't pick up the phone or listen to a voicemail. Often an email gets ignored or the customer only reads the first 8-9 words and stops. BUT THEY WILL REPLY TO A TEXT! It's how most people currently communicate.

Pros

Fast, easy to use. Use it just like your cell phone, attach photos, videos, links. Ask for reviews and attach the link for that. Send a link for a credit application, customers upload their paystubs, driver license, etc. Customize the notifications to the proper level. I like how Kenect collect our reviews in one place, easy.

Cons

No complaints or suggestions at this time.

Kenect has been a great tool in our medical office. We are able to easily add contacts and send and receive messages. With a simple click, we can also send a review to our patients which has increased feedback and boosted our ratings online. The ease of sending and/or responding to a message has allowed us to stay better connected with our patients which is our ultimate goal.

Kenect is easy to use and I haven't found anything I would change.

Overall good

Pros

Its very handy to be able to use the desktop version as well as the mobile version. The option with the mobile version to send photos is very handy as well.

Cons

If a customer is assigned to another team or team member I do not see the replies. This can be annoying when a customer was previously talking with another department and then needs service again, we don't see the message unless we go looking for that specific person.
