Pros The features and integration in the kernel with DELL EMC Servers, in other use cases where you combine servers of other brands the expirience is similar but not complete. Cons The price of enterprise bundle that let you present space for file servers and all the requirements for a validate solution when you want to built by your own. Pros I would say that vSAN is the best feature that vmware created and it work very well if you have high speed of network 10Gb in your datacenter, and you no need to invest alot of money on the dedicated SAN. the feature i love the most, it can create the raid level on the top of the Host storage. Cons even its good but please becareful if you have network bandwidth 1Gb it will stuck your storage and reduce performance. Reasons for choosing VMware vSAN because this technology we can save the money to buy more SAN storage, the server we have has 8 slot of hard drive already.
