Staff support are professional, personable with up-to-date knowledge. Import of Employee data took seconds. Cons The ability to edit the handbook's template content was instrumental in tailoring to our company's needs. Would like this feature in the contract of employment template content. Pros It is very easy to import new employees into this software and get started with their contract in seconds. Cons If I copy one contract to another similar employee, it would be nice if everything I need to look at to change in the new contract was highlighted. Latest rules and regulations are automatically implemented which is great, and the additional elements are incredibly useful. Cons As a seasonal employer, I would like to be able to import a spreadsheet file to import the contract elements. We have found the staff and helpline are very informative and helpful. They make some hard jobs easier Cons My only problem is that when doing rotas they are weekly where as I would need a rota that can go from the 1st to the 31st of the month. Payroll administrator Education Management Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "A good way to keep track of compliance" January 20, 2022 4.0 Pros As our company contracts can be very similar to each others Bright Contract allows us to repeat the same type of contract only changing small parts if needed. The fact that the system alerts us if a new policy might need to be integrated in the handbook is one of the best feature of this software. Bright Contract helps us to stay compliant at all times. Overall a very good software that I would recommend. Cons The system does not allow to archive former employees but one has to delete the contract from their system if they don't want to have a long list of employees. Sometimes the system needs to be rebooted a couple of time before working correctly i.e. not all contracts appear or the handbook don't show fully. Last thing, if the alert to new policy for the handbook is very appreciated and allows us to stay up to date with compliance, it is not always straight forward in the presentation of the system that there is a update. Pros It allows me to provide contracts for my payroll clients at a fraction of the price that a HR professional would charge. It has quite a few customisable options, and means that I can offer added services to my clients and generate extra revenue. Cons The section about giving notice for absences is worded a bit strangely and sometimes I have to manually edit this with a pdf to Word editor which is a bit annoying. The option to manually edit would be good, or to export in a Word document where I could edit it. Sometimes importing employees doesn't work and it crashes the software. Pros As a small business owner and one that has to wear many hats in the day to day running of the business this software is invaluable. For a small investment in time once a month it is easy to remain on top of all contract obligations. Support is great and all communication is relevant to our business. I would recommend the product. Cons There really is very little, it can be a bit tricky when you are trying to insert some additional company specific information and the format is sometimes misaligned but the content is excellent. It is also great to use contract templates when you take on new employees.
