Afterwards we made contact to acquire it and the issue was very agile and we use it on a daily basis to monitor our grid. Pros The tool is supremely intuitive, no great knowledge is needed to implement, configure or use it, apart from the real-time monitoring it is very agile Cons The hiring issue was a little delayed. Pros What I liked most about CACTI is that it is very simple to use, very intuitive and also easy to deploy, it does not require advanced knowledge. Cons What I liked least about CACTI is that I see that it is widely used as a free tool but in reality it is a tool that has many functionalities. Cons Scripts and plugins gets obsolete, but that's the "price" of open source = its free, sometimes you have to learn and script your way to get things done. Switched from [Nagios Core](https://www.capterra.com/p/152751/Nagios-Core/) Nagios was a bit complicated and suffered some security bugs in the past.
