Pros I love the ability to manage both our companies Instagram and Facebook all in one location. The ability to schedule our social media content easily is also a big draw for me. Cons The difference between business suite and the professional dashboard is not always to discern. I find myself struggling to find setting between the two. Cons What I liked least about Meta Business Suite is that scheduled posts can occasionally fail to publish, especially when planned far in advance. When I strated working with Facebook Ads 6 years ago, we had a lot of control of when, where, how and to who were showing our ads. Now everything has become automatic. Want to target an specific audience? The algorithm takes it as a recomendation. Want to target only Instagram and not all the other placements nobody cares about? Thats going to cost a lot more of CPM You prepare an ad with a lot of care? The algorithm is going to crop the creative, put some horrible music on top and say that doing this is going to improve the performance. Pros Easy way to generate quality traffic, depending on the market it can be very cheap. Quick way to gain data if you launch a new website. Cons Day after day we have less control over the audience we target. Everything is becoming more and more dynamic or automatic. I used a third-party social scheduler initially but eventually realized that the Meta Business Suite had everything I needed. Pros The scheduling feature is what I use most by far - it is very robust. I also like the Inbox feature that lets me see and respond to all the interactions I have gotten. Cons The layout of the menus is not the most pleasing. I also feel like some of the menu options could be consolidated to make it feel less overwhelming. They often make updates that sometimes can be frustrating to figure out, but are usually for the better so I don't mind. You can get really specific with who you want to reach, which is huge when you’re trying to promote music or shows to the right audience. It also gives you a lot of data, so you can actually see what’s working and adjust instead of just guessing. Cons What I like least is how confusing and clunky the platform can be. There are a lot of settings and it’s not always clear what actually makes a difference, so there’s definitely a learning curve. Buyer beware..." December 21, 2025 1.0 I requested an ad for 7 days to spend max $2 a day; ad canceled after 5 days. I was charged $42. Then Facebook deleted my author page. BOA froze my credit card account and invalidated the card. Facebook's Meta is not responding to my request for a refund of $32. I will NEVER use Meta again. It was a horrible experience. Pros I have nothing good to say about this business other than the price was inexpensive and they picked the audience. Cons They don't review the text until afterward the ad is placed. There is no customer support. They claim my author page was hacked and deleted it. There is no visible support for editing or canceling ads. Arbitrary account restrictions and threats. The Facebook app often puts a strain on your battery even during the times its not in use. The up to date mobile devices seem to handle the power needed in background running but I have seen a grim trend with the employees who have older devices. They have reported such issues as it causing the phone to freeze sometimes as well as times where the phone temperature rose to dangerous levels to go along with the battery symptoms. September 21, 2021 1.0 Now STOP, we can't really take it anymore, make us fail and end up bankrupt because of the moderation of Facebook. For years we have been creating original content on Facebook, working for many hours every day, making a page grow to more than two million followers, with many sacrifices. We have created thousands of images that those who use Facebook, at least once or more in their life, have shared or commented, we have created original content and all of them are about positivity or phrases for reflection or animals. Images and videos that have stolen thousands or hundreds of thousands of other pages from us. We partnered with Facebook and were in the monetization program, then suddenly they took the monetization out of us by saying that we shared unoriginal and permissionless videos. A HUGE LIE because everything we published was either our property or we bought the license. From here the problems started, Italian assistance which is a shame, the most useless thing that exists, they don't know how to use Facebook and I had to explain to them how it worked. Then suddenly other problems. We have a registered trademark and have never allowed us to obtain the blue badge, because it is obvious that they only give it to acquaintances or pages that are absolutely not companies. The real problems begin, they say that my account and my employee's account are double accounts and we are the same person, but what do they do? They did everything to us, starting with the links on our web Pros Nothing, they decide to throw you out for no reason Cons They ruin your life for no reason! From one day to the next they send you bankrupt!
