I always tried/trying my best to use it in a positive way and to spread positivity with people. Pros The only app with billions of users and having no age restrictions, no limitations a fully free and full featured app available to everyone throughout the world for free. Where you can promote your business both for free and paid, where you can share your life experiences , where you can earn name and fame in a very limited time. Where you can start a business for free and become a billionaire. You can share you vlogs and other videos with your fabs and friends. You can share your messages, appeals, campaigns with millions of people in no time. Cons If you don't know the right and positive use of facebook then it just wastes your time, and once you get into it then there is no limit to stop scrolling. It is easy to navigate. Cons I've noticed an uptick in phishing emails warning that policy violations have occurred. I'm not sure what can be done about it. We have a Remote Work solution and a HelpDesk/CRM solution. And instead of reading the ad, they just immediately block if from being posted and we have to change the wording. We actually stopped promoting on FB Ads and moved to LinkedIn and Twitter. Pros I liked that you can setup your target consumer by region. The cost was less then other paid platforms. Cons Wish they would provide a better algorithm for settings filters on your target audience. What they offer is generic and tends to post into feeds that are not your true target. Some friends from middle school, are my friends again and customers! Pros Fb set my business in motion. It was like fire how quickly it caught on and began producing income! Everybody’s on fb! It’s obvious when you’re selling something! Cons It’s a wide open gate. Some bad eggs get in. Be cautious, watch the profiles and be logical. I personally have not been scammed but I know people who have. Reason for choosing Meta for Business I started with Facebook and then I also added Instagram. Both are amazing platforms! The Facebook live feature adds an exceptional feet to its usage helping in virtual discussions. Cons Several fake profiles allowing scammers to operate, if there can be an improvement to verify every account and get rid of others it will be useful. Facebook is also very addictive. I can keep it mostly to just friends and family. I have considered deleting the app off my phone but keeping my account, so I can check it via my computer still, but it doesn't lure me in every time I check my phone. Pros I like that I have added so many people I have met and connected with over the years. I get to stay updated on old friends that I haven't seen in years to decades, and I also get to tag friends and family in photos. If Facebook were to shut down, I would mostly miss all the pictures I have shared over the years. It is essentially my only photo album! Cons Similar to Instagram it is addictive. I find myself going to check the weather or to look up a fact, and before you know it I am scrolling Facebook and I don't even know how I got there! Helps quantify impact and show value for money when running ads directly. Pros In an increasingly competitive ad space, targeting ads to specific donors/ customers is hard. Facebook allows you to advertise to a specific group, show them regular content to educate them on your service and then convert them from a supporter into a donor/customer. The pathway process on google and other key ad platforms is also good, but nothing is as simple as Facebook for targeting and donor pathway development- a very underused platform for small business and charities. Cons Facebooks rule for ads and blocked content is not clear, often applied inconsistently and Facebook is not very helpful with dealing with copyright violation and fake accounts Reason for choosing Meta for Business Yes out of all the social media platforms, the conversion rate from viewing to donating is highest with facebook targeting. I would totally recommend using Facebook, it seems to me the most versatile of all social media.
