As a customer, I prefer to contact a company via Facebook because it's easier. Therefore, your customers are happier with your service: customer satisfaction is a powerful tool to create customer loyalty. Also, advertising is not expensive at all, and can be really useful to reach a higher audience. Pros It's a huge social network. Most people nowadays have a facebook account, therefore, a lot of people is going to check your bussiness' page. Also, it offers several tools to communicate with your audience and its AI checks for abusive users. Plus, you can pay for advertisement, which is not too expensive, and reach many more people. Cons There is basically no customer support. Every time you need help, the only way you can try to get it is by talking to a AI. There's basically no way to speak to a human. I am young and adept at technology, but I feel it is very intuitive. Pros I liked that Facebook installed a Business Manager feature this year. Now, you can schedule your posts without using a separate software (for example, Sprout Social). This makes the platform accessible to all business users, even small businesses who don't have an entire social team and special software. Cons The Business Manager feature for Facebook is not as easy to use as Sprout Social. The site is very slow and has several issues (if someone schedules and are removed as an admin, the post will not go live, etc). I found it has all the same features but they are a bit more clunky. That being said, it is free! I get the chance to view adverts on goods and services, as well as online business opportunities. Cons I received a call from a stranger, who had hacked into my Facebook account and imposted himself as an old friend of mine.
