Its users are spread all over the world, which means you can connect with anyone and everyone. It is also a great platform for small businesses and freelancers. Pros It reach. The number of people you can network with is huge. It connects you with people across countries, continents and age group. Cons Suspicious content. Beware of people and ads you dont know about. The ability to provide a continuous flow of product and servcie information is extremely helpful, as I noted above. Otherwise, this is a fairly generic product. Pros The ability to schedule posts and have automated responses is the most useful feature of Meta. This means that during down times you can produce a lot of content that can be scheduled to be released djuring busy periods, ensuring a continuous flow of information to users. I can add more posts and I can be sure it always works. Cons It is just way too complicated and it's impossible to find things. I always spend many extra minutes just scrolling around to find something i saw a minute ago. i think by having tooooo many things it just becomes annoying. also i find the ad creation ridiculous, i had many ads declined and they just fail to explain why exactly, hard to improve so it just overall makes you more and more annoyed by the software... It is a great way for your customers to get to know you and your business on a more personal level. Pros I love how easy it is to stay connected with family and friends from all over the world. It is great to find people whom you lost contact with too. Facebook is a great tool to build relationships with your clients and potential clients. Facebook can give you awesome insights to your market unlike any other platform on the planet. Cons The worst thing about Facebook is how many hours you can waste scrolling through your feed and get lost in a rabbit hole. It takes ages for customer service to get back to you when you have issues or questions and even when you get an answer it can be vague. Some business features can be tricky to figure out and the algorithms make it hard to control how you publish content to your audience. That way you can freely switch between managing your business and personal life without them mixing, unless you want them to. It is also great for school clubs and study groups as well because you can great groups on the app and join club and study groups. It is also one of the best platforms to post ads for your business to drive traffic Cons I hate how the customer service nowadays is horrible and it’s very difficult to reach and actual personal. If Facebook reports a post or closes your account the process is automatic and only a live person can fix any automated issues that come up. Not only do they allow you to connect with friends across the world and stay in touch with them, it also has become the world's leading news sharing organization. So you can stay in touch with friends and family and get all the news that's important to you. Pros Where do I even start?! I love how publisher-oriented the network has become. I am able to find the news that I find valuable and keep it all in one place. I love how the algorithm determines what you find valuable and gives you what it thinks you will find important. And I love that you can help it along by unfollowing certain types of content, etc. The fact that it's constantly learning about every user is fantastic and helps me discover new content everyday. It can also help get us new consumers. Pros I like posting updates, instantly liking or putting up a emoticon to something I may like or have a reaction for. They tend to monitor comments somewhat decently and have a separate space for a life story or a place where you can put photos in. I can also receive notifications on my phone when someone posts something along my interests. Cons I think they pick and choose what content they feel is appropiate. Especially during the election coverage and sometimes don't deal with the real offensive issues on facebook that people post and/or say to one another. When Facebook updates, they seem to do too much too soon that makes people feel confused and have to relearn the new interface. When our domain was blocked, we were unable to use Facebook Login and there was no solution from Facebook support. It caused panic because our team members and our customers suddenly was not able to log in and we lost revenue for several weeks while scrambling to find a solution (which we ultimately did not solve with Facebook). Pros Our experience with Facebook Login was quick to set up, and there were third-party libraries available to easily integrate. Cons Facebook blocked our domain and was marked as trusted, but we did not get clear explanation what the issue was and how to remedy the problem. I stay engaged because of family and limit exposure to avoid the negativity. On using Facebook to promote small business-it is not the best marketing tool and you are prompted continuously to purchase marketing and to share your contact list. There is not a good place to find what the ramifications of sharing your contact list with Facebook for marketing entails. Cons What appears to uncontrolled or unmonitored postings by negative or misinformed FB users is tiring. I wish there were categories you could select on the front end to filter what you see, Family, News, Fundraising, Political Activism, Sales, Products, Educational. This tweak would add value!
