Pros Facebook offers a great place to easily set up a business page and share with existing friends/family especially if you are already an individual user on Facebook with a personal page. Cons When using the paid advertising for my Facebook page, it was pretty expensive for the options they offered, my paid advertisements came up on my existing friends feeds (Why would I pay to advertise to friends and family) and the paid ads did not seem to get me more traffic on my page. Pros Facebook is probably the most used Social Media platform out there but it does not mean it is the best. Facebook can be cumbersome and it seems like the rules change all the time so that you are not sure if your posts are even being seen. However, the best thing about Facebook is that it is used by most people. Cons The rules seem to change on a weekly basis of who and how much your page is seen by customers and potential customers. Reason for choosing Meta for Business Facebook - even if it not as trusted as Instagram - is the go to social media platform to get information out there. With other apps like Instagram (Facebook owned) or Twitter, I rather spend more time over there than here. With that said, Facebook is still a cool place to go around, to connect with people I care, share things that I like (like my photos or what I write) and to find some nice reading material. It´s amazing that over all of this years, this app is still up and running and always finding ways to adjust what people needs. So, Facebook is still ok. Cons Well I don´t appreciate the scandals surrounding Facebook this days. I do know for a fact that they shared personal information and that they use private information without it´s users knowing or consent. Something to think about. Pros I like the reach that I have with Facebook ads and the marketplace. I use it to advertise rentals, my own real estate products, some of the cheap real estate deals, like vacant land. Some of my customers pay through Facebook pay, which is very convenient and has no fees. Cons Since recently, there is a heavy review process. I was even banned once for no apparent reason without any option to dispute it. Basically, any listing that I post is being reviewed. Once I mention real estate, my listing has to conform with the housing regulations, even though they have nothing to do with housing. Requesting additional review never yields any results. There are many bugs that nobody is willing to address. Live video featue is important feature to go live when we are in meeting, training, teaching or even hiking. Cons I am little bit skeptical to the privacy of this platfom as like others. I saw similar advertise when I talk to my friend in messanger about my preference. The identification of fake account is difficult.
