Customizing what info is available to people who come across your page is nice too, so you're only letting people see what you want them to, without giving too much personal info. Pros Facebook has impressed me with its groups. For every problem or interest you may have, there is at least one Facebook group for you to join and connect with people who share your interest or problem. I've learned many things from Facebook groups. Whether it's marketing, writing, or fitness, you'll find that there are many people who spend a lot of time there sharing their experience and knowledge. It's complex because it contains many options. Your feed gets populated with other accounts' posts, pages that you liked and group posts. You can control who sees your posts, your notifications (which can be many!), what information in your profile people can see, etc. Having to manage Facebook pages and groups as well, your life could get really busy. It's easy to connect with people you already know like classmates or relatives - as long as they have Facebook accounts. Cons I don't like that people can call you on your phone just because you accepted their friendship request. There should be another step in between. Sure, you can block those calls, but only after you've been bothered already. Also, managing notifications can be overwhelming. As a side note, the Facebook ads manager should be simplified and made clearer. You can start an ad from a post, but then you find out that it hasn't been activated, and then you have to search for the Ads manager tab which tends to load too slowly. Review Source MG Michele G. We were hiring help, but the candidates were not ever a good fit. Pros I don’t have to hire someone to do it for me, but it takes time to figure out. I don’t really use it much because of that. Cons It is impossible to get help. Online forums take too much time. If there were a dedicated team available for help, that would likely make me reconsider.
