For two years, I was unable to link any of my posts to my website. For that two years, I tried to contact Facebook customer service to get it fixed, but all of my attempts were ignored. I even tried to contact them on other platforms. Finally, after hiring someone to do so, I was able to get my blog unblocked. After consulting with other bloggers, many of us went through the same thing. It is terrible that a company this large cannot get this type of issue handles, or even be open to consulting with business owners to get it handled without paying people. Another big issue, is that from my business page, I am unable to direct message others. They have to send a message to the business page first, then the business can respond. This method is terrible. It should be much easier to reach clients. After years of being on Facebook, I do find it to have some use, but it is definitely not the best platform for my business. Pros Facebook allows for the masses to be reached with links, images, and information in a single post. Nowadays, you wake up in the morning and can already take a look at the news of the day through the application, even answer a message that was sent late at night. Pros The ways in which the Facebook application integrates with other applications are really satisfactory. What's more, the application is totally free, even if you want to advertise your own product. Cons Some notifications just don't show up when I log into the application, only in my phone's notification bar. Pros The Facebook business suite has the right idea. I utilize this for a client to maintain her inbox and analytics. It's great that the system has a lot of organizational features like labels, filters, and even assigning certain conversations to different administrators. Also great for the base fact of cross-app messaging from Instagram. Cons The filters to find the messages are just off. Instagram has different inboxes between primary, general, and requests where Facebook blends them all together and makes the inbox way more clutters and more difficult to declutter.
