The team is very helpful and quick at helping us with any issues we have. We are finally at a point where we feel comfortable with the app and our staff is getting used to competing records daily. Pros We love SFS because it helps us keep all our records and policies in one place and off of paper. We are able to easily find what we need as well as easily show our staff how to use the application without the hassle of using paper copies. Cons App + web glitches or slowness. We do like that if we have an issue we can come to the SFS team and they will try to fix our issues as soon as possible. Reason for choosing Smart Food Safe SFS was able to develop with daybreak so we were able to have our needs met as well as future needs. That helped tremendously with implementation. I could make templates look almost identical to our old paper versions which made the switch easy for floor operators. Adding formulations conditional formatting made their jobs easier. Cons The ability to approve documents from the records APP would be helpful "on the go". Functionality of the text notifications for those busy production supervisors who rarely get back to their desks. Also, having an app for the CAPA and Audit modules. Pros As a Food Safety facility and USDA on standby establishment having the documents needed in an electronic file that is controlled by administrator on who can and cannot do certain things makes having records, documents and trainings all in one place easy and secure. Cons when creating documents, every little change has to have the version number changed. sometimes you just need to review the document , maybe a button that gives you the option to review date would make it easier. Pros I like that the code guides you for all the documents that you need. I also updates the code as there are changes to it. Cons Some employee take a little longer to get use to the online records, but they are all making it happen!
