### "The Unsung Hero of Our Daily Workflow"

August 2, 2026

5.0

Overall, Google Calendar has been a dependable part of our daily workflow. It integrates smoothly with the rest of Google Workspace, making it easy to manage meetings, deadlines, and shared schedules without jumping between apps. The interface is simple enough that new team members pick it up quickly, and the ability to overlay multiple calendars has made coordinating across teams much easier. While it's not the flashiest tool on the market and could use some modernization, its reliability, ease of use, and price point make it a solid choice for both individuals and teams looking for straightforward scheduling.

Pros

Google Calendar integrates seamlessly with the broader Google Workspace suite, including Gmail and Meet, which streamlines scheduling significantly. Key strengths include intuitive drag-and-drop rescheduling, robust support for multiple overlapping calendars (work, personal, shared team calendars), and clear visual organization through color coding. Shared calendar visibility has notably reduced back-and-forth when coordinating meetings across our team. In terms of value for money, it's hard to beat the core feature set is free and still outperforms several paid scheduling tools we've trialed. We've also rarely needed to reach out to customer support, but on the few occasions we did have questions, the help documentation and community forums were thorough enough to resolve issues without much delay. As for bugs and issues, the platform has been consistently stable in our day-to-day use, with very few disruptions to scheduling or syncing across devices.

Cons

Mobile notifications are occasionally inconsistent, with delayed or duplicate alerts. The interface has remained largely unchanged for several years and could benefit from modernization. Native task management and external appointment scheduling capabilities are limited compared to dedicated tools.

Switched from

[Microsoft Outlook](https://www.capterra.com/p/227138/Microsoft-Outlook/)

We switched mainly because our team was already deep into the Google Workspace ecosystem, and having a separate calendar tool felt disconnected from our daily workflow. Outlook worked fine, but Google Calendar's integration with Gmail, Meet, and Drive made everything feel more streamlined. The shared calendar visibility and easier cross-team scheduling were also big factors in making the switch worthwhile.

### "Easy to Use: Google Calendar "

August 10, 2026

5.0

Overall, I do love Google Calendar and think it is the most universal and user-friendly calendar option of several public options.

Pros

What I like most about Google Calendar is the fact that we can integrate it into several different platforms and websites that we already use in order for all of our parties to be on the same page. It is easy to use both as a producer of a calendar as well as someone who only views it. There are nearly no bugs or issues within the system, and anything we do have a hiccup with is easy to adjust using customer support, who are quick and efficient. The value is worth the product in more ways than one, and it makes it easy for our school to manage appointments, meetings, and other needed information and events.

Cons

The one thing I do not like about Google Calendar is it is not customizable enough, especially for someone with lots of calendars they are trying to manage. I would like to see more color-coding options, more sizing options or a combining of options for the display both on the web and the app, and I would love to have more customizable options within creating events themselves.

Alternatives considered

[Microsoft Outlook](https://www.capterra.com/p/227138/Microsoft-Outlook/)

Reason for choosing Google Calendar

It was the most user friendly overall for all parties.

### "Reliable and Easy-to-Use Calendar for Daily Scheduling"

September 9, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Google Calendar has been very positive. I use it regularly to organize meetings, track deadlines, coordinate schedules, and manage daily activities. The platform is easy to use, accessible from any device, and integrates well with other productivity applications. It has become an essential tool for staying organized and improving time management.

Pros

What I liked most about Google Calendar is its simplicity, reliability, and seamless synchronization across devices. It makes scheduling meetings, managing appointments, and setting reminders extremely easy. The integration with Gmail and other productivity tools helps streamline daily planning, while shared calendars make coordination with colleagues and teams straightforward.

Cons

While Google Calendar works very well for everyday scheduling, some advanced resource management and reporting capabilities are limited compared to dedicated enterprise scheduling platforms. Managing a large number of shared calendars can also become difficult, and customization options for views and notifications could be more extensive.

### "THE BEST for smooth integration for busy professionals"

August 17, 2026

5.0

Pros

I love how easy it is to customize events in the calendar. You can customize how often they repeat, set end dates, and specify which events require notifications. It integrates really well from my computer to my iphone, and the iphone widget is super useful.

Cons

I previously had an issue with google calendar because it did not have a lot of color options available. This feature has been fixed and it has significantly improved my experience with the platform. Now, I am able to make my calendar look exactly how I want and it get even more granular with my scheduling.

### "Easy to follow schedule."

July 28, 2026

A s the service comes free, I have no issues with it. But the UI customization can be added to user side.

Pros

It has been the smooth software I have used to keep track of my schedule. I can sync all my different account meetings into a single calendar. The good thing, I can set my own ringtone for notification, there is color option to sort and view too.

Cons

Sometimes, I have missed notification even after I have set the time correctly. Also. the UI seems a bit complex. I was having hard time to see all the dates in a month.

### "Streamlined Schedulling and Seamless Integration"

September 1, 2026

5.0

Google Calendar is an indispensable tool for personal and professional time management. Its seamless cross-platform syncing, automatic email event additions, and straightforward interface make scheduling reliable and stress-free.

Pros

Intent & Trigger Automation: You can set up topic tracking (e.g., technographic changes, hiring spikes, software adoption). The system automatically surface-scores accounts as Warm, Hot, or Very Hot and pushes weekly alerts or target lists directly to reps. Conversational AI & LLM Integrations: Integrating Lusha’s data API directly into LLM workspaces (such as Claude via MCP plugins) enables reps to run conversational prospecting. You can prompt the model to research accounts, enrich lead data, and draft tailored emails without switching between tabs. One-Click Sequence Generation (Lusha Engage): Its native email automation takes enriched lead lists and auto-generates multi-touch email cadences based on value propositions, tone, and campaign goals.

Cons

Advanced Features: Lacks built-in, native advanced task management capabilities compared to dedicated project management software. Offline Access: Offline functionality can occasionally be limited or slow to sync changes once reconnected to the internet. Customization: Visual customization and layout views are somewhat rigid with limited theme options.

### "From Paper to Google Calendar "

May 13, 2026

5.0

I love Google Calendar. I’m typically a paper calendar person but this app has made the transition from paper people seamless and easy.

Pros

I like that you are able to set a meeting from your email, booking site or the mobile app. It’s easy to integrate video softwares into your appointments as well. You are able to tag people and add notes/descriptions about the meeting. The time zone feature is another favorite of mine.

Cons

When added to the iOS calendar you aren’t able to add the video integration in as well as if you were using the app. In order to set a meeting using your phone with say like Google meet - you have to go to that specific app.

### "Efficient, Integrated, and Virtually Indispensable"

April 12, 2026

4.0

Overall, Google Calendar is my primary hub for organization. It simplifies scheduling across different platforms, though it does require some manual "cleanup" when handling multiple accounts. I think the user experience could be greatly improved if Google offered a monthly "meet up" or live help session to show users how to smooth out these minor technical friction points. Despite a few integration limitations regarding visual tools during meetings, it remains the most effective calendar solution for my needs at this price point.

Pros

The integration is unmatched; it connects with almost every tool I use. I love that I can click a single button and event information is automatically placed on my calendar at the correct time without manual entry. The ability to launch a video meeting instantly from the schedule is also a game-changer—it has made other third-party meeting apps like Zoom unnecessary for my daily operations. For the cost, it’s truly the "BOSS."

Cons

Managing multiple Gmail accounts can be cumbersome; when integrating calendars, I frequently see duplicate entries for the same event. I also find the visual feedback lacking when adding new items; I wish the information would appear immediately so I didn’t have to go searching to verify it landed correctly. Additionally, while the built-in meeting tool is convenient, it lacks some of the advanced visual collaboration/whiteboarding features found in dedicated platforms.

### "Essential for scheduling focus time, but lacks native data export options"

June 22, 2026

5.0

I have been very happy with my experience so far. It's almost a part of my daily life. It has the perfect mix of administrative (meeting, presentations) and deep focus (data cleaning, dashboard building) work required in my job. It is dependable and updates automaticall

Pros

As a data analyst, I love to be able to colour code and definitely block out ‘focus time’. When I'm writing more complex SQL and/or building models, I require uninterrupted time. Google Calendar has made protecting that time easy, and it easily creates ad-hoc data reviews with stakeholders.

Cons

I don't particularly like the UI when attempting to place multiple team schedules over top of each other in an attempt to determine a common time to meet. Also, from an analytical point of view, I would like an easy, natively supported method of exporting my schedule data in a CSV to analyze where my project time is being spent on a week to week basis.

### "Google Calendar is an exceptional scheduling and appointment management tool with user-friendly interface."

July 12, 2026

5.0

I have been using Google Calendar to schedule activities and events and to manage appointments and i have had a very productive experience. With Google Calendar, it is easy for me to find time for scheduling new events like reservations and virtual meetings and also manage appointments with my learners. It makes it easy to bring together all my scheduled events under one place which allows me to know which event is scheduled for what time so that i don't forget them. Google Calendar also helps me to manage my availability by helping me set up times when am only available to receive new appointments. With Google Calendar, i have been able to boost my productivity by clearly setting out time for my activities, allowing me not to have more than one activity scheduled for the same time.

Pros

Google Calendar has helped me boost my productivity by making it easy for me to find time to schedule for upcoming events like virtual meetings, reservations and online lectures. It has a simple and straightforward user interface that makes it easy to navigate through it and access all my schedules information, allowing me to always know what events i have scheduled and when. I also like the appointment scheduling features which allows me to easily manage bookings from my students and dictate when am free to accept new bookings and when am not. It offers great analytical reports which provides me with clear performance insights, helping me to discover actions that i can take to improve my scheduling experience. Google Calendar offers communication features like instant chats which makes it easy for me to discuss about bookings and the best scheduling time with the people on the other side.

Cons

I have not ever had any issues with Google Calendar at all since i started using it and i have not found anything not to like and admire about it. My overall experience has been very successful and Google Calendar has not showed me any weaknesses in its performance.

### "Reliable, Easy-to-Use Calendar for Everyday Scheduling ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

June 25, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Google Calendar has been very positive. It has become an essential tool for managing both personal and work schedules, making it easy to organize appointments, set reminders, and coordinate with others. The integration with Gmail, Google Meet, and other Google Workspace applications saves time and streamlines scheduling. While there are a few limitations with advanced features and occasional syncing delays, the platform is reliable, intuitive, and provides excellent value for everyday use. I would recommend it to individuals, families, and businesses looking for a dependable cloud-based calendar solution.

Pros

Google Calendar is easy to use, reliable, and integrates seamlessly with Gmail, Google Meet, and other Google Workspace apps. Scheduling appointments is quick, shared calendars make team collaboration simple, and automatic reminders help keep me organized. I also appreciate that it syncs across all my devices in real time, making it easy to manage both personal and professional schedules from anywhere. Best of all, the core features are free, offering excellent value for money.

Cons

While Google Calendar is feature-rich, some advanced scheduling and resource management capabilities are limited compared to dedicated enterprise calendar solutions. Customization options for the interface and notifications could be more flexible, and managing multiple calendars can become cluttered. Occasionally, syncing issues or delayed updates occur across devices, although these are generally infrequent.

### "Using Google Calendar: An Overview"

March 30, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Google Calendar has been very positive. It’s a reliable, easy‑to‑use scheduling tool that helps keep personal and professional commitments organized in one place. Creating events, setting reminders, and managing recurring meetings is quick and intuitive, and real‑time syncing across devices ensures everything stays up to date. I particularly value its integration with Google Workspace, especially Gmail and Google Meet, which makes scheduling meetings and joining them effortless. The ability to share calendars and view others’ availability is especially useful for coordinating with teams. While it may lack some advanced planning or task‑management features, Google Calendar excels at straightforward, efficient scheduling and works very well for everyday use.

Pros

What I liked most about Google Calendar is its simplicity and seamless integration with other Google services. It makes scheduling and managing appointments very straightforward, whether for personal use or work. Creating events is quick, and features like reminders, notifications, and recurring events help keep everything organized without much effort. I also really appreciated its sharing and collaboration features. Being able to share calendars, see teammates’ availability, and schedule meetings easily (especially with Gmail and Google Meet integration) makes coordination efficient. The ability to access it across devices and have changes update in real time adds to its convenience and reliability.

Cons

What I liked least about Google Calendar is that it can feel limited for complex scheduling and advanced planning needs. While it works very well for everyday appointments and meetings, features like task management, detailed time blocking, or advanced recurring rules are relatively basic compared to more specialized productivity or project‑management tools. I also found that handling multiple calendars at once can become cluttered, especially when several shared calendars overlap. Color‑coding helps, but in busy schedules it can still be visually overwhelming. Additionally, some settings and features—such as notification controls or calendar‑specific permissions—can be hard to find or unintuitive, particularly for new users. Overall, Google Calendar is excellent for straightforward scheduling, but it can feel restrictive or less flexible for users who need more advanced planning or customization options.

### "Good for tracking client meetings"

July 12, 2026

5.0

It is a good alternative . It helps me stay organized during my day and allows me to deal with multiple clients without worry. The tool is not suitable for complex scheduling across countries, but it will do a good job for daily tracking. Every day, I utilise it to manage my client relationship tasks.

Pros

Likes, I like the fact that it is easy for me to take all my client calls on a day. Scheduling meetings is the fastest it's ever been, and Google Meet links also get autoadded, which saves so much time. You can also color coordinate your meetings so that, when looking at the calendar I immediately know which client is priority one. You will have no trouble with syncing to your phone as it is extremely easy, hence I hardly miss a call even when out on client visit.

Cons

like is having many clients in different time zones as it gets difficult keeping track of the right time. Once in a while, the reminder notifications on my desktop show up later than when they're supposed to and I get anxious that I'll be late.

Google Calendar is very user-friendly and easy to use, plus it’s free. I also like that I can easily set up meetings and interviews using Google Meet, which makes scheduling seamless.

Cons

One thing I like least about Google Calendar is that it can get a bit cluttered with many events or shared calendars, and I also think the alerts and notifications could be improved, they don’t always stand out or offer enough customization.

### "One Calendar app to rule them all."

March 11, 2026

5.0

I'm a big fan of this app. I've used it for several years now and upgraded my phone and tablet a couple of times. I really like how seamlessly it pulls in the data once I put in my Google ID.

Pros

As a proud member of Gen X I've used all kinds of calendar "apps" in my life, starting with real calendars hanging from the kitchen door, then upgrading to pocket-sized calendars shoved into my back pocket. When my boss plopped the first 286-Intel computer on my desk back in the mid-90s and told me to 'figure it out' I played around with the first few generations of calendars that were included in the Microsoft products but always gave up in frustration since they were stuck in the computer and I still had to carry around a hard copy of my schedule when I left work. But finally, Google heard my cries in the wilderness and gave me Google calendar. Now i can't imagine living without it. It seamlessly links all my important dates, meetings, and events in my personal and professional life and I have them at my fingertips at the office, on my phone and on my tablet. And yes, I could do something similar using MS Outlook but having tried both I find that Google's Calendar is easier to use and is far more intuitive. Five stars from me.

Cons

The only drawback I ran into was on the initial setup the calendar doubled up displaying all the holidays. It took me a few minutes to figure out what setting I needed to adjust to make this holidays display correctly, but other than that it's been seamless.

### "Simple and reliable but limited for complex scheduling"

April 22, 2026

5.0

Pros

What I liked most about Google Calendar is how effortless it is to stay on top of everything. It keeps all appointments and meetings in one place, and I do not really have to think much about the setup. Adding an event or reminder takes just a few seconds, and it immediately syncs across devices, which is very convenient. It is also very easy to use on a daily basis. The layout is clean, and I can quickly see what my day or week looks like without any confusion. Appointment management works well, especially with recurring events and reminders that actually help avoid missed meetings. Email integration is another strong point since invites and updates come through clearly, making coordination with others simple. It also works reliably most of the time, with very few bugs or interruptions, which adds to the trust in using it regularly. Overall, it feels like a tool that quietly does its job in the background without getting in the way, which is exactly what I need for scheduling.

Cons

What I liked least about Google Calendar is that it can feel a bit too simple when things get more complex. For basic scheduling it works great, but once there are many meetings, projects, or overlapping plans, it does not offer much flexibility to manage everything in a deeper way. The layout can also start to feel crowded if the calendar is packed, and it becomes harder to quickly spot what is important. I also wish there were more options to customize how events are organized or displayed. It works well with email and other Google tools, but beyond scheduling it does not really go further, so additional apps are still needed for communication or task coordination.
