Pros Google Calendar has been my go-to scheduling tool for years, and for good reason. It’s simple, reliable, and packed with just enough features to keep my schedule organized without feeling overwhelming. What I Love: Seamless Integration – Since it’s part of the Google ecosystem, it works effortlessly with Gmail, Google Meet, and other apps. If someone sends me a meeting invite via email, it automatically pops up on my calendar. Easy Event Creation & Sharing – Adding events takes seconds, and I can invite others just by entering their email. The ability to add Google Meet links automatically has made remote meetings a breeze. Customizable Notifications – I can set reminders for important events via email or phone notifications, ensuring I never miss anything. I also like that I can adjust when I get notified—5 minutes before, an hour before, or even a day in advance. Color-Coding & Multiple Calendars – I use different colors to categorize work meetings, personal tasks, and special events, making it easy to see my schedule at a glance. I also love that I can toggle different calendars on and off (work, personal, family, etc.) without cluttering my main view. Cons Offline Functionality – While there’s an offline mode, it’s not as smooth as I’d like. If I lose internet access, I can still view events, but adding or editing them can be hit-or-miss. Limited Customization for Recurring Events – I wish there were more flexibility with how recurring events are scheduled.
