I need one stop shopping and integration to consider a product to be great in the area of ease of use. Google Calendar provides great value for the money. Integration with Google Meet is one click, very fast to join the daily standup call. Cons Mobile widget sometimes not update instantly on screen. Pros I use google calendar for all of my staff timeoff and scheduled time in the office. Functionality is great. I have shared viewing access with my staff so they are able to see scheduled time off and providers that will be in office without having to access our EHR. Cons The only Con is you have to be careful not to merge your personal and work calendar. Pros It saves us thousands of dollars annually since it is free with our Google Workspace education account. Parents receive automatic email notification and teachers can book parent conferences directly onto the calendar. I particularly appreciate the fact that I can have several calendars on top of each other - athletics, PTA events, staff meetings - to tell when there is a conflict before it occurs. Cons We can no longer be connected to anything when our internet goes down (rural area problems!). It is also annoying that you cannot highlight recurring events in bulk and change them in case snow days hinder the schedule.
