Google calendar has everything that I need to know about my day/week/month. Pros I love having multiple calendars and being able to color code them. I love that google receives an email and automatically puts the event on my calendar. It is free so can't go wrong with that!! I love the layout and look of google on my phone vs apple. Apple doesn't show the event details in the month view - you have to click on each day and that is a real pain! It is easy to use and has many useful features that can help you manage your schedule. Cons The problem comes when you're using Google competitor product, such as Microsoft. You can link google files in a calendar invite, as well as google meet links for a webinar. Cons Google Calendar has a bug where when you move a recurring event and select for future events to also be moved in the same way, it creates a copy of the recurring event to the desired date while leaving the copy of the old date. This is usually fixed by manually deleting all of the old dates. One click and I can update, reschedule, or cancel calendar inputs. Cons I can not really think of a negative feature, although sometimes calendar events are duplicated. It’s easy to set up, integrates seamlessly with Gmail and Google Meet, and keeps everything in sync across devices. I like how simple it is to share events with clients or team members, and the color-coding makes it easy to stay organized. The only downsides I’ve noticed are occasional time zone issues when scheduling across different regions and limited customization options. Still, for a free tool, it does more than enough and has become a daily essential for both personal and business use. The downsides? Mostly small quirks—time zones, feature gaps, and some clutter for power users or Apple-centric folks. But for most people, it ticks all the right boxes. Pros It's a free tool with so many great features. Syncs easter and faster than any other calendar including Microsoft 365. It is compatible with all of the other platforms I use and has a clean and intuitive interface. Cons Occasionally has issues with other platforms that we use but that is very rare. And when you toss in that I also run a small business and add meetings and other obligations to this calendar it can be overwhelming but the app keeps everything organized and up to date for me and is super user friendly. Pros It's easy to use, keeps all my appointments in order, can be shared with others and the regular reminders are absolute LIFE SAVERS! Cons I wish the alerts would ding more than once, almost like a clock alarm. Sometimes I'm away from my phone and miss the first alert due to it only making a brief 1 time notifying noise. Pros I use an Apple device but use all of the Google Suite products because I find them much more efficient and usable between my computers and mobile devices. Cons The use of collaboration tools within Google Calendar could be much more efficient (ie. Meet, Drive, Keep, etc.). Having front facing, simple ways to attach Drive folders to specific meetings on specific dates would be great.
