It keeps me on task with not only my scheduling but for someone else's busy life as well. Google keeps it simple as usual, not straying from their other sync-worthy software, so there's nothing new to learn. Pros I think I like the syncing feature the best, but I equally love the simple reminders. They both tie in with each other to effectively keep a busy schedule together. The reminders are especially handy because I can set them for the person I schedule for, and then I don't need to remind them myself. Cons I honestly can't think of anything I dislike about Google Calendar. Pros I love that Google Calendar is so simple to use and syncs with many other softwares, in addition to my other email accounts. I also appreciate how it comes with several views, and allows me to see other peoples schedules. Cons I wish that there was an easier way to schedule a meeting with multiple parties. Right now, it only allows you to view schedules of the individuals that you are trying to meet with, so it ends up looking like a large mess and it's hard to see what everyone's availability looks like. Pros It is ubiquitous and easily accessed. Almost no one hasn't used it in the past and therefore the learning curve is almost nonexistent. Can be used for free or as part of a G Suite account. Easy to share events and send invitations. Cons No scheduling feature, meaning that you need to pay for a third party app in order to allow people to set an appointment on the calendar. I also find it annoying that every time I want to add a pre-configured calendar event from a service like Zoom I have to re-authorize access to the account even though I have literally already provided this permission hundreds of times in the past. With a large number of meetings, you can simply forget about something, thanks to the calendar and reminders, you can plan everything well and remember everything. Pros I like that the calendar is integrated with the e-mail account and you don't need to install anything extra. You can additionally supplement the calendar with, for example, birthdays, non-working days, holidays, you can also import the calendar from another gmail account. E-mail notifications before a calendar event are very useful and the ability to set a task to be performed is especially useful in companies where there is general e-mail available with a calendar shared by everyone. Cons Electronic calendar has its advantages and disadvantages one of the disadvantages is that if there is no Internet access or the battery is empty, we have no data. I also like how it can easily sync events and tasks from the other Google based apps like contacts, Google tasks and Gmail. It's got an easy UI and I feel like it's simple enough that anyone can figure out how to use it as long as they take the time to look through it. Cons Now, for me, the biggest disappointment that I have is not having any way possible to enable the phases of the moon on the Google calendar mobile app. In the setting for both mobile and web, it has multiple options of syncing, especially syncing across platforms, however, the moon phase feature is apparently only available for the PC web version of Google calendar. Again it's disappointing, especially for a Google based Android phone. Also for the mobile app, the other feature I'm surprised isn't available is the ability to customize the widgets.
