March 24, 2026 5.0 Pros I love the ease of use and organization it provides me for my days. For a tool i get to use for basically free, it is amazing. I also love that i am able to save my appointment emails and add them automatically to my google calendar and do it on a per account basis. I have NEVER found a product that does everything Google calendar does - and it does it for FREE. Pros Google Calendar is free, it's easy, and it WORKS. I love that I can manage multiple calendars - for different family members and different projects. Cons I am sure I am sharing data with Google when I use the calendar (ugh) - but functionally there is nothing I don't like. Switched from [Microsoft Outlook](https://www.capterra.com/p/227138/Microsoft-Outlook/) I have (and still do) use Outlook for work - but I import that feed into Google so I can have my work and personal calendars in one perfect place. The software is so excellent with so many incredible features. I like to use it for scheduling, appointment scheduling, calendar so much. However, their customer service needs to be upgraded. Cons Calendar issues sometimes result in notifications being sent late, and some of the advanced features have to be learned, and that can hinder new-user uptake in high-activity production environments. It’s easy to stay organized and on top of things without having to think too much about it. Pros Keeping track of plans becomes a lot smoother when everything updates automatically no matter what device you’re using. It’s easy to send invites, get reminders before things start, and even drop in video calls without hunting for links. Cons Juggling a lot of events can start to feel messy, and updates don’t always show up right away. When you’re offline, it’s easy to feel a bit stuck, and the tools for setting up reminders or managing shared schedules can feel limited compared to some other options. Review Source TD Tom D. Office Manager Construction Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Nothing Comparable" March 10, 2025 5.0 I have be using Google Calendar for over 11 years professionaly to manage a roofing companys entire scheduled, and 15+ years for personal events and tasks for my family. Pros With Google Calendar you can easily create multiple calendars, quickly share events with others, and keep a to do list all in one place. You can set up specific notifications and colors for each at the calendar or idividual event level. Scheduling repetitive events is possible no matter what frequecy they occur. The ability to add links, addresses, and take notes direcly in events is very useful. Cons It is hard to manage, espesally for a company, when there is no way to bulk share calendars. Try having 20 calendars that need to be shared one at a time with each new employee. Also, there no bulk edit features period. It would be nice to be able to look up specific calendars or events and bulk change info, or even the calendar they are listed under. The search is no better, when only exact words/phases can be searched, and if spelling is off by one letter or space, forget it! The mobile app leaves a lot to be desired, leaving out the ability to manage many of the settings. Cons There’s really not been anything to dislike about the product, very simple to use, and I can’t think of a single time there were bugs with it. I schedule everything on it and use it for my kids schedules and all my employee schedules. Pros Integrates with literally everything. Pop an email into a calendar even in seconds, notifications setup, just super easy. Cons mobile app only searches back 2 years, anything older and you have to use the desktop version which is a pain when youre trying to pull up prior dates on the go. It allows the multiple users of a shared space to see events on a calendar (on pc and mobile) to determine if the space is available without requesting use of space with others. Pros Easy to keep track of events in a shared calendar with multiple users to better accommodate multi-use of shared space. Cons It was not as easy to share with non-google user accounts.
