Overall, I think Setyl is a great product. It meets the requirements for a modern day Asset Management System.

Pros

Two of the pros of Setyl are the large number of native integrations it has as well as its API capabilities.

Cons

One of the cons are that sometimes the use case for certain areas are a bit unclear. However, the team is very supportive in providing the clarity when needed.

From the moment of the first sign-in with Microsoft, the journey with Setyl was marked by a professional, friendly approach and an amazing attention to detail. Customer support is on another level, and the integrations they offer keep expanding as the company matures. I am looking forward to what is to come!

Pros

The easiest onboarding process I've come across, seamless integrations, a vast array of assets and a very well-thought-out GUI. Super fast adoption rate!

Cons

When there were issues, rather cosmetic, may I add, after flagging them with the support team, the response was near immediate, and the resolution was deployed promptly.

Pros

There's a lot of great features which makes life a lot easier for IT to manage and assign assets, such as automatic assignment of laptops depending on who last logged in, the support is top class, if there's any issues they are resolved quickly with full communication.

Cons

There were a few data import issues from 3rd party connections, such as archived users being added, however these have since been fixed.

Simple, easy to use and learn, easy to navigate due to layout. Such a breeze to upload information and assets.

Pros

I love how easy and simple it is to use. As I am an Apprentice having to learn new things can be intimidating but with learning Setyl for the first time it was a breeze.

Cons

Whats not to like I dont have a bad thing to say about it honestly I use it everyday at work and it make my life to much easier especially on busy days.

Setyl has been a great addition to our IT toolkit. It helped us organize device inventories, reduce SaaS waste, and streamline lifecycle management for users and assets. It’s user-friendly, fast to deploy, and well-supported.

Pros

Setyl gives us a clear, centralized view of devices and SaaS tools, which makes IT operations smoother and more transparent. It’s quick to implement, easy to train others on, and integrates well with the tools we already use like JumpCloud and Google Workspace.

Cons

Setyl is working well for our needs, though there’s still room to grow—especially around automation depth and reporting customization as the platform continues to evolve.

Overall my experience has been brilliant, since I've started using it more on a daily basis I've learned a lot more about the system and we use it in a better way to get more out of it as business. Bulk updating of assets is key for us and work brilliantly, Setyl are always innovating with new features. Support is always fantastic.

Pros

The look & feel of the system, its clean and modern with everything you need right in front of you. The customisation you can have is brilliant

Cons

I can't think of anything at the moment, some features were enabled by standard but a quick support call had this fixed straight away & probably our fault.

Excellent! We really value Setyl in managing our finite charity resources and saving us time and money by making sure we know what we have, where it is and who has it!

Pros

Integration with Microsoft 365, amount of information that can be captured

Pros

The ease of application to manage assets for the business is a time saver. The wide variety of integrations gives me a huge array of data to pull together to help manage the estate more efficiently.

Cons

As of yet, I'm yet to find any. I would stress, any technical issues or lack of functionality the team have been incredibly open to and supportive in making it a reality in rapid time.

So far everything has been great, from importing existing assets, to Linking our HR, Accounts, MDM tools into it.

Pros

We love the simplicity of Setyl which allows us to do our daily Asset management tasks. The way it can import information from multiple sources and unified into one easy to understand platform. It gives us flexibility to extend management access to others that are outside IT team.

Cons

I would like there to be a mobile app to allow for even more flexibility to use the system.

Reasons for choosing Setyl

Setyl looked much cleaner and simpler to setup and use without having to invest a lot of time and resource. Setyl was and is still also committed to listening to their customers and adding features and general improvements. Whereas at the time AssetSonar told us that any changes or custom requests, suggestions would be charged as extra development.
