However, I couldn't get it to work even after downloading a separate library that they recommend (fixie-wrench). So I was relieved to find QuotaGuard. The QuotaGuard team clearly cares about their product and their customers. I enjoyed my interactions with them, and their product seems reliable so far. Overall a solid choice for Heroku/MongoDB Atlas builds. Pros The product is straightforward in its design and it worked well with my use case on Heroku/MongoDB Atlas. It enabled me to set up static IP addresses for additional database security, and it distributes traffic between them. I was able to easily add the IP addresses to MongoDB Atlas. Cons My use case was slightly different than the one described in their documentation, so I got stuck while setting it up. Fortunately, the team was prompt to respond when I reached out to customer service, and they worked with me directly to find the solution. It was a refreshing experience, and I haven't had any issues since. The customer service is probably the best feature though as we receive fantastic support from \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] Cons The Heroku dashboard could do with a sprucing up, but apart from that I don't really have much to complain about. They have responsive customer service and have given immediate, thorough and technical solutions to all of our questions. Pros QuotaGuard enables us to provide connections from Heroku to our customers over a set of static IP addresses. This is a must-have feature for some customers and we would not be able to win their business without QG! Cons There are no drawbacks to using QG. Reasons for choosing Quotaguard QuotaGuard's pricing was more reasonable and they made it much simpler to integrate their proxy into our software. Support was amazingly responsive and helpful during our pre-purchase analysis and post-deployment configuration. We were under significant deadline pressure and QuotaGuard's responsiveness and flexibility made me feel like a hero to the rest of our team. Pros The full feature set met our needs and appreciated the competitive matrix in their marketing materials. But the customer support was just stellar. Cons Honestly none.
