Cons I wish there was a way to get us engaged with mint on a more consistent basis. If there were more useful notifications on specific spend and trends, I would utilize it in real-time rather than retroactively once my spend has already taken place. Mint did save me a lot of money, so I will continue to use this app. Pros If you have multiple bank accounts, managing these bank accounts may be a hassle. Mint can help you solve this problem. You can link all of your bank accounts to Mint, and then just log in to Mint to view the transaction records of all your bank accounts. At the same time, you can also set the budget for each category in Mint. If your spending exceeds your budget, Mint will also remind you. Cons There are a lot of ads in Mint's UI, which is annoying. This is a free software, so advertisements may be unavoidable, but it still cannot change its annoying nature. And sometimes my linked bank account will be unlinked. I haven't figured out what caused this problem. It automatically tracks your income and spending without you having to do much work. Cons I wish Mint had a way to create a budget that you could manually input spending into instead of it all being automatic. The "old-fashioned" way is helpful to some people. Just enough to make you depend on it once you start Cons Mint is a mess right now. They can't sync with my credit card carries, and the website crashes when I try to set certain transactions as "transfers". It's like trying to do budgeting with a toddler on your desk. You think you got everything sorted, then it comes crawling along and throws your papers around, says you can't do it the way that makes sense, and then crashes because who knows why. I would like there to be a way where rather than the app drawing the information from financial institutions, I could enter in the information myself to generate the same results. It gave me a good expanse overview quickly though. Pros This software is really easy to connect to your accounts and extract data quickly. You can get a real overview of your expenses. I check it weekly or even possibly daily and have the widget on my phone so I see every transaction my wife or I have made and I like the ability to make budgets. The app breaks down Assets, cash and liabilities very easy. The monthly movements feature is nice to get overall view of spending. I have set up many budgets and love the notifications if i go over. June 29, 2021 5.0 Mint has been great for keeping on track with my spending and allowing me to get a clear picture of my financial situation. Pros I love using the mint app. Before using mint, I never budgeted at all. Mint makes it extremely easy and it even gives you updates or warnings if you are getting close to your budget for different categories. Cons I think the software can be improved if it linked with more third party sites. For instance, it can't link with one of my banks which is a bit of an inconvenience.
