Pros It worked well for a while but they constantly have excuses about why certain MAP Prices are not being captured. Cons It is a great tool in theory, but the fact that it is not consistent will leave you frustrated. It allows us to track what price our sellers and resellers are selling our MAP parts for and allows us to contact them very easily using the software. It tracks our success of maintaining our MAP pricing on the web and the history of our actions. It is reasonably priced and gives us access to alot of detailed reports out of the software. Pros This software scans the internet for eretailers who are selling certain products of my company. They then compare the advertised price against our MAP pricing standards and reports the violations. We then can use this software to contact these sellers and ask them to adjust their prices. The product does a good job of finding violators of our MAP policy, and it is easy to use for all of their features and it has a good selection of preprogrammed reports. It's customer service also has been very good. Cons This was an easy software to implement but there is a bit of learning time and there were some issues with implementation but were fixed fairly quickly. Also for some of resellers of our products there is no information as to who the actual seller is and how to contact them. This is more of an issue with eBay then other sites. Their data quality and customer service are top of class. Pros Prowl is an easy to use MAP monitoring platform. The data they pull is high quality and presented in an easy to process and use format. Their seller database is one of the best if not best tools on the market. Historical pricing is a great feature that allows me to see who is playing pricing games overnight and on weekends. Cons I haven't come across anything that my Customer Success Manager or the rest of the Prowl team can't assist with. You can report issues directly on the violations page as well as using their chat/ticketing system which is easily accessible on every page of Prowl. On top of that our PROWL service representatives have always been extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Pros I love being able to see interactive dashboards that provide some quick visuals for our data. I also love being able to look at historical violations to get a good sense of patterns over time. Cons It has been a little difficult to integrate our setup to create automated emails. The process has been a bit lengthy. Would love to have a more seamless integration of all the finer tuned features. Pros The product is easy to use. There is a good amount of detail in PROWL about the sellers. The customer success managers have been for the most part responsive and easy to work with. It is easy to report errors in the data and the specific errors are handled quickly. Creating templates and sending notices to sellers is set up in an easy way to use and send as well as documenting actions taken. Most of the time we get good information on why there are some data issues and the status of fixes, but not alway. Cons The initial setup had some issues that creating quite a bit of internal work from our side. Not knowing how to set up sellers information in PROWL for all categories caused confusion (We wanted seller information to be the same for all categories). There were several issues in the initial setup and review so this process could go smoother. Also in the last year there have been a few significant data issues but we have gotten through the learning curve. Also very detailed information. I love knowing who lowered the price first helps us police correctly. Cons Sometimes it picks up lower pricing on items that are used or Dealers that show Used as well as New pricing on their websites.
