I am excited to continue to grow with UpMetrics! Pros The UpMetrics framework for organizing metrics and showing impact is clear, concise, and meaningful. They make telling the story of your non profit's work easy. We've been able to unify previously siloed metrics into a single, organization-wide story of impact, and save time and improve confidence in our reporting by simplifying complex analysis into digestible insights. Cons Truly, the only issue we ever had was that we started with UpMetrics when they were transitioning to a new, upgraded platform. This meant that our first drafts for our framework were completed offline and then we had to add that work to the new platform when it was ready. HOWEVER, the wait was worth it. We have a great deal of reporting to do as a non-profit and the platform and data integration process that we've been able to collaborate on has made my job a million times easier to report now on our programs and impact. Pros The UpMetrics platform provides my organization with a very easy way to see, analyze and report out on a multitude of data we collect. From attendance and demographic data, and our annual program surveys. There are so many ways to filter the information, that we can really dig deeper into the data to uncover trends and understand our participant's experience in program. I really appreciate how the staff at UpMetrics are responsive to our needs and have taken the time to really create a unique platform tailored to our organization. Cons The only pain point was having to upload our data into google sheets, but that's to be expected with any data management service. Reasons for choosing UpMetrics We received funding to work with UpMetrics, but we're still thrilled that we had this opportunity and probably would have selected them. This ensures we are getting the most out of the service and partnership. Pros UpMetrics quickly takes the data collected and turns it into a story that is easy to follow. In the past we had to wait months to transfer the data into digestible information but now it's happening in real time which allows us to see where our program is excelling and where it is falling behind. Cons We were not using a data collector that automatically fed into UpMetrics platform but the UpMetrics team worked with our situation to find a way the data can feed in without manual entry, and they understand the priority for us on this going forward. Pros \-I love that this product saves me a lot of time by automating most of the data processes leading up to visualizations. -I also love the sleek visuals. The visuals are beautiful and really help to tell our agency story through data visualization. Cons The system is not very user friendly. To really get the most out of the software you will need training. With training, however, the system does become more user friendly. Cons Because Upmetrics develop products based on the needs of the organization, sometimes there are bugs, especially when in the beta version as we test out functionality and user-friendliness, but for the majority, they do their best to tweak out these issues as soon as they can. Pros The Upmetrics platform helps to give a 360 degree view of our impact. We are a data-driven organization and therefore need to effectively convey our impact to donors. There are so many possibilities with Upmetrics to not only communicate our impact through the years, but quickly share visuals with our network. Cons Since we keep our data stored in Salesforce, an integration between Salesforce and Upmetrics would be a great plus if possible. I appreciate the level of dedication that the staff gave in the beginning. We are a small nonprofit with limited capacity, and the individual support that Upmetrics provides is truly beneficial. Pros The impact profile is great to send to potential donors or individuals interested in our impact results. It's simple and clean. I also like how we can easily modify how we show our impact results. I also think the stories feature is an asset to the platform. We are often saving our testimonials on a word doc but this feature helps us store this information and grab quotes when needed. Cons We are still in the process of integration. The software itself isn't difficult. However, molding it to our data structure is somewhat difficult.
