Community Manager Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "My image generator of choice" January 19, 2021 5.0 Since I discovered Abyssale I'm using it together with SilFer Bots (Manychat alternative) to generate personalized coupons for my clients, their Wordpress Plugin to generate branded featured images on the go, and exploring their API in my campaigns. For example, I'm using it to generate Facebook posts by changing images and titles. Generating images by requesting their API is what made me crazy about it. =) As long as I can think in a way to personalize, I can use Abyssale to do so. Now with Airtable integration, I don't even need to know how to run things in Zapier, Pabbly Connect or even Integrately. I can just paste my client list there and run the integration to get personalized Holiday cards, birthday cards, eCommerce coupons, Facebook posts, Instagram Stories... Endless =D Pros Abyssale has 3 features that drove my attention. 1 - Generating banners based on text, colors, font, and image; 2 - Using professional templates to generate images by changing image, colors, and texts; and 3 - Controlling this via API (this creates endless opportunities!) Cons The App is still on early stage (late 2020 - early 2021), so you can expect some features not as polished as your daily graphic apps. The user experience is getting better by the day, so a bit of patience is needed for small adjustments (but still totally functional). There are some limitations you will be aware by using, like character length limitation when adding too much text etc. But so far, nothing that I wasn't able to find a workaround. Now I can use a form, airtable or even Abyssale itself to generate my images without any hassle =D Canva for example is great, but being able to fetch images using API or integrating it with other apps is awesome. I have this unique use case where I need to create cover images that have consistent visual elements in terms of design but different values and texts inside the designs itself. Abyssale helps me create these cover images in volume and bulk saving me tons of time. It is most likely one of my favorite software as a solution platform. The user interface and user experience is top tier and most importantly, it is a super polished product. Pros The user interface and user experience. My God, I love using Abyssale, it is a Saas tool that I feel is like a piece of art! Also native integration with Airtable makes it super awesome. Cons Relatively newer company with not much of an established online identity. But, the team is trying hard and they are giving their best in all aspects. It saves us a lot of time in creating ad banners, however, more templates would be nice Pros Creating ad banners used to take a lot of time. Thinking of a catchy line, then selecting graphics, and then the designing itself. But thanks to Abyssale, we don't have to spend so much time on ad banners anymore. It creates a lot of customizable templates for us. It can also be automated (so when you add a new product(s), a banner will automatically be generated) Cons The templates are somewhat limited. Pros We're just getting started with Abyssale, but it's already saved us so much time and effort with its ability to mass-produce high quality images relatively simply and quickly. If you need tons of creative for e-commerce, check it out. Pros I like that I can produce lots of ads VERY quickly. I have used it on a number of campaigns with great success. It is very easy to understand and you can have your first ads created in minutes. The company is regularly adding features and squashing bugs. Cons I would prefer more ad sizes and the ability to generate more variations at a time. It would be nice also if the program had a bit more polish in the area where you can fine-tune the designs. We added Abyssale to our email workflow and generated unique images for each customer, the results were great, and customers started screenshotting the emails and sharing them on social media because felt unique as their name was embedded beautifully in the email. We also integrated Abyssale with our blog publishing pipeline. Every time a new article is published we used Abyssale to create a new image using the featured image and title. Earlier we only shared an article once but now with Abyssale we have additional posts to fill our social media calendar. Pros Can generate custom social media posts, images for emails and more. With Abyssale every email is unique. Cons Wish Abyssale had video support but doesn't matter as they are really good at what they offer, that is image customisation. Pros We have to create a lot of banners for our marketing department, which used to be time consuming. Abyssale allows us to create template that easily adapt to diffent sizes with a few adjustment, and that can then be customized directly by our marketing department members from a form or a spreadsheet to generate all the banners they need. Cons It's a young product, and I've met a few bugs, but, the support is very reactive and things are always corrected fast. Having Abyssale in the toolbox means I can cut down time and cost of producing social media graphics on demand. The quality is pretty good too. Pros I am not a designer, so it took me a lot of pick up different images, fonts, colors for each post I made. In the past , I would either do the design work method or pay a designer. Now, I save so much time and money in getting awesome designs! Pros The ease of use of the software is simply unbelievable! I couldn’t believe just how easy it was until I saw it in action for myself! The variety of designs it gives you is simply amazing! It’s like having a whole lot of designers design for you and you get to pick the ones that catch your fancy!
